My family and I love the beach, but I prefer the shade, a cool breeze, and a cool beverage when we're planning to stay for a full day. This canopy works great, is easy to set up, and can be adjusted based on the sun's location during the day. The fact that this canopy has 8 stabilizer legs (2 on each corner) sets it apart from those with only 4 stabilizer legs (1 on each corner) and allows it to be more stable in brisk winds. We have used it without issue in steady winds up to 25 mph. Just lay and stretch it out on the beach, fill up the eight sand bags, lift the canopy and insert the 4 expandable poles, and adjust to stabilize. If it's really windy, the sandbag ends can be buried to provide even more stability. The whole product packs up in a small duffle bag for easy transport. We will never again bother with umbrellas that only provide shade for two people (at most) and blow over in light winds. Money well spent.

This beach shelter was perfect for our recent spring break trip. It was easy to set up and tall and wide enough to accommodate four adults plus kids running in and out. It withstood the wind really well and lasted for a full day on the beach. Easy to transport and packs down very small. Highly recommend.

We bought this tent to use on the beach. The last one we had was very difficult to put up. This one is a breeze to set up. It has lots of space under it for shade. It holds up well in the beach winds. We have already used this several times for our beach weekends. It makes the beach more enjoyable for all of us.

Sun shade, love the color, it’s light weight, it’s easy to put up and take down.

Wind was 10-12 mph but I’m sure would take a lot more. Spread out and fill bags with sand. Set up leading edge of canopy that will be towards the wind (if any). Place the poles along that edge first then other two. Bags will hold more sand than you think. Adjust final set up. Use straps that hold poles together in package around the balls on pole tops to hold tent material tight. To tear down reverse process. To empty sand bags I just turned inside out. Easy!

My brother has had a Sun Ninja for a while but it had some issues with the poles coming apart and the sturdiness of it in the wind. Having 2 bags on each corner ensures that the poles don’t move too much, so they’re less likely to bend and get broken. My dog decided to take off and bent one pole. I bent it back and it’s still holding strong.We had a really windy day out here and all of our neighbors had to take down their sun shades as they couldn’t hold up to the wind. But this shade held strong the whole day. As long as you have enough weight in each bag so it can’t move then you won’t have any issues with the poles moving too much.We used it in the sand on the shoreline and it made it quite easy to move around when we needed to. Quite helpful with a dog that likes to tangle herself in everything.Excellent product! Had multiple people ask about it and I’m sure I will see more at our campsite next year!

The product worked well, initially, but in day four of our beach trip it was windy and the legs of the tent bent in half. Very disappointed as this product was not cheap.

This canopy was perfect for a group of 5. Easy set up and provided plenty of shade. Nice and sturdy even on windy days with up to 15 mph winds! Just be sure to fill all 8 bags fully and don't be afraid to move them around to help tighten the material for less flapping.
