Great replacement for the basic 4Runner stereo.
I bought this for my 2010 4Runner SR5. My old stock 4Runner radio was very basic, had no bluetooth capability, and had some issues with powering off at random times. Also, the bezel around the old stereo had a chip in it that drove me nuts. This new unit is great. It comes with a totally factory looking bezel, has bluetooth capability, navigation, etc. It comes with all the necessary wiring harnesses. I can't really figure it out, but it seems this unit is actually a Toyota OEM product sold by a third party. The fitment, hardware aesthetics, sound quality, buttons and bezel are perfect. Seriously. I haven't used the GPS much yet but to me it looks just as good as a Garmin standalone unit that I own. My car doesn't have a rear camera or steering wheel controls so those menu options aren't functional on this unit. It's very nice that the unit lets you turn off these items for people who don't have them in their car, so there is no interference. Also, there is a menu on this unit for tire pressure monitoring but I have no idea how to link that up with my car. Probably had to be activated at the factory. My backup sensors still work the same as before. Some complaints I have are: the touchscreen menus are just a bit..."off". For example, one menu option I found is for setting up the rear camera and the icon for it is a smiley face. Just weird. Also, my "Party Mode" button and auxiliary in are no longer functional but who cares? Losing functionality like this is always a risk with a new stereo. None of these complaints warrant a deduction in the rating in my opinion.

This unit works slow and in no way operates like a factory stereo
This unit works slow and in no way operates like a factory stereo. The Bluetooth is elementary and the unit power sometimes won't shut off, even when you turn the car off. The only way to shut it off is to unhook the battery. I absolutely do not recommend this product. I sold the car, so I don't have to worry about it anymore.

Great product
Fit my 2010 4Runner perfectly. Looks just like OEM and installation was quick and didn’t not require any special skills or knowledge. Would recommend to anyone looking to upgrade their factory CD player

IT'S OK...not the greatest but the reception is pretty good when you get the XM to connect.
It's ok. According to my husband, who installed the radio, the description said plug in and go but of course it is never that easy. He had to order some type of adapter/antenna and then once that came in he had to order another plug. It looks great in the dash. I don't like it very much. I listen to XM all the time. When I turn off the truck and come back to it later the XM doesn't work right away. The display reads XM but I have to switch the menu to 'RADIO' listen to that for 10 seconds or so then menu back to 'XM' to make the XM pick up.Thant annoys me very much. It really is disappointing.I would send it back but my husband trashed the box.UPDATE JULY 10,2018The radio is BROKE. Trying to contact the seller. I hope they work with me to replace the unit OR refund my money. Plus all the money I paid for the extra adapters that I had to buy to get it hooked up. Fingers crossed

Sounds good, looks great, fits 4-Runner perfectly and looks like a stock item... but has very basic "cheapo" GPS program with bad colors/graphics. Touchscreen has good sensitivity, however some touch screen buttons disappear on certain screens. They will still work if you remember where they were before they disappeared.

Do not buy, expensive mistake.
Lasted about 8 months after that too many issues, now the screen is black, checked fuse, in the back of the radio, in the 4runner box check for voltage from batteries, reset to factory nothing works now can't see anything worst over 500 purchase I have made I paid 589 for it..

Fits very well and apparently working great. Might equal or exceed factory installed system.
