Virginia Seal - Hiking Stick Medallion

Q: Are these medallions curved for a stick already?

I just installed my Virginia medallion last weekend. It is not pre-curved but made with a very flexible metal that easily curves with gentle finger pressure. Slowly curve with your fingers, test the fit on the hiking stick until it is curved enough. I often use needle nose pliers to further bent the little "ears" with the holes where the nails go. I also pre-drill little holes with my Dremel for the brads as my hiking stick is very hard wood.
