I really like this headlamp. Straightforward and simple, and nice and bright! The only thing I would recommend for improvement would be that I wish it would pivot a bit further. It has a fairly small range of pivot, and I am unable to point the light down when wearing it. Sometimes I like to use my headlamp basically pointing at my feet for doing tasks around camp, and with this I have to physically look down for everything. Otherwise I am very happy with the quality and performance of this unit!

I have many headlamps, powered by AA, AAA, lithium (multiple kinds), and rechargeable, with all kinds of features including both white (warm and cool color temps) and red light and multiple power levels from maybe 20 lumens up to 700.But not one comes close to this for reading. Why? First of all, it's floody. You need that to cover the whole page without a hotspot in the center. (Floody is also helpful if you're tinkering with the fuse box while the power is out.) Floody lights are hard to come by. Zebralight makes them, but high-end makers are mostly interested in throwers. It makes their lights seem more powerful. Also, most of the lights are made of metal and so are heavier. This one is plastic and lightweight. Some of the fancy ones also drain while not in use, although you can loosen the battery chamber to prevent that. Moreover, when you just want to read (or maybe anytime?), you don't need to fuss with a finicky user interface and hoards of options. This light comes on high (which is not too high) and you can dim it if needed by tapping the one simple switch. That's it. Takes three AAA batteries, easy to change, and they last a reasonable time. Simple. There are some other similar plastic lights. I have a few and they are usable for reading. But this one is the best.

This headlamp works beautifully, but I found it very hard (even with help) to install the batteries and adjust the adjust the different levels for focus.

Took several camping trips to even remember this thing would need new batteries on day lol it can get real bright and the battery lasts long enough to forget to bring batteries lol

Just what I need for an upcoming backpack trip, smaller and lighter.

So far so good. Good quality headlamp. Light and brightness are just what I need. Batteries don’t last that long but that’s just the way it is. Excellent price for what you get. I will probably buy again. These make excellent gifts as well.

The optional battery packs are pretty nice, they are plenty bright for a budget headlamp, I didn’t get much long term use out of the two I bought, but I have no reason to suspect they won’t last.

I've only had it for a week, so can't speak to its longevity, but it's solidly made, and the various brightness settings are excellent for illuminating when I need it but not blinding everyone in the neighbourhood. Very happy with it.

Rien à dire pour un produit qui remplit parfaitement sa fonction. Lumière puissante, option rouge et clignotante. Parfait pour la rando, le camping et... l'hiver!

I took the headband off to bolt this light to a welding shield. Excellent for those dark spots and confined space work. Batteries last long enough but I always keep an extra set in case. Will be purchasing the rechargeable pack from BD to cut down on the AAA I buy

EXCELENTE LAMPARA , SUPER RECOMENDABLE.Me encanto el sistema de dimmer para regular la luz, des esta forma puedes administrar muy bien la carga de tus baterias. la luz esta increible a pesar de ser solo de 300 Lum. super potente !!! lo unico que no he encontrado es una bateria LI/ION que le quede para poder checar la duracion de la bateria recargable.
