S&W SD9VE SD40VE Holster, OWB Holster for Smith & Wesson M&P M2.0 Full Size / SD9 VE / SD40 VE, Index Finger Released Holster Right Hand

In my 4 decades of carrying firearms for work and play, I've had a wide variety of holsters made from leather, plastic, kydex and whatever other material there is out there.And most all of them shared one failure – the gun could fall out for any one of several reasons. And that's problematic now since I'm carrying a S&W SD9, a lightweight pistol that becomes a brick when a full magazine is loaded. Not only is it heavy on the hip, but it stresses compression holsters that clamp in on the barrel and leave some gaps on the sides.It was a toss up between this holster and a Fobus also offered. I've had the Fobus before and they're great holsters but I figured I'd try another brand (at least with Amazon I could return it).Imagine my surprise when I put my Smith inside this holster and it not only clamped but gave a satisfying click. No side gap or slop, just a tight fit.And that click? It's unique. In order to remove the pistol I have to use my index finger to press the button and the pistol comes out when I pull it.Not only does that button keep things tight, it also keeps you from inadvertently hitting the trigger on the way out. For those with striker fired pistols like the SD9 (or any Glock), this is great!Believe me, it's worth the cost!

I just love this holster!

Got this to fit my SD9 2.0 and for the price and quality you get, you really can't complain. I have other holsters that are way more expensive and I can attest that this is good quality for what you paid. This was for my truck gun so didn't want to spend a whole lot on the holster. For all the people complaining about it being an ok product or crying about it being of cheap quality, why don't you quit being cheap and buy a more expensive holster? You can't spend $20 and expect AlienGear or similar quality, common sense!

The plastic holster does fit a S&W M&P well but the holster seems to be thin and flimsy. Not sure how durable it will be but time will tell. My nylon holster caused surface rust and hopefully the non-porous plastic holster would solve that problem.

I carry the 5" barrel version of the MP9 2.0. It clicks right in and pulls right out with no resistance or wiggle. The paddle fits perfectly to the contour of your hip, and comfortably sits on the hip, or on the hip at an angle. It is just flexible enough to easily pull over behind your belt when you put it on and take it off. Angle of the holster is adjustable too.Another reviewer who uses the 5" barrel sanded the inside of the tip where the gun pokes out to make sure that the front sight has no obstruction on clearance (since the 5" has some barrel length that has to go back into the holster in order to clear the weapon). The holster has no problems clearing without doing that, but I did it anyway to make sure and have no problems.Carried it for hours at a time, nothing to complain about. Draws like a dream. Buy it.

I bought this for a S&W M&P 2.0 Full size. It clicks and holds perfectly. Release is easy. I broke my 1st one, and this is my 2nd purchase of this holster. If i need for other firearms, this will be the brand!

Fits my S&W SD9VE like a glove , it has a great finger release system and has a satisfying click feel and audible click . Made of a thick quality plastic and has a thick rubber backing to grip and ad comfort to ur body side .Highly recommendable

Fits Girsan MC28. Cannot attest to the long term quality, but out of the package it seems good for the money.

Great holster, fits the S&W Sd9 (non VE) version and I upgraded to fibre optic sights and she still snug as a bug and has a good positive lock on the trigger guard. Now my draw against myself in the mirror is so fast I almost beat my reflection. Dummy rounds of course. Holster retains well and allows you to get a good grip on the handle of the firearm. I give this product 100% rating and it came same day what more could you ask for.
