Dabbled with daubers
No photos, but as far as daubers go these worked just fine. The handles are all straight, the loop is good size for my finger, and the heads were all poofy. I bought to apply 3M primer to my truck year window track before doing urethane sealant, and these daubers were just fine. They did not shed all over or into the primer and did not seem to leave lint or fibers in anything. Good value for my needs!

Well Made and Great Value!
Current product under review as per the seller's own product description on its Amazon marketing page: 50 Packs Wool Daubers Glue Daubers Ball Brush Leather Dye Tool Leather Dye Dauber Dyeing Applicator with Metal Handle for DIY Crafts Projects. Not too much to review for such a simple, practical, applicator craft device. I say so because all its composition is made up of only 2 parts - - a fuzzy, fluffy dauber head and a metal shaft handle (with a convenient integrated loop at the handle's end for hanging purposes after use). It's a sturdy product which is reusable if the current job enables cleanup either by water or a solvent.I rate this as a good value purchase (50 included pieces) of 5 stars across-the-board as per the current price published on its Amazon webpage.

Sturdy and affordable.
My wife uses these for her leatherwork, and she says they are durable and hold up to repeated use. They don't 'shed' and work well for the purpose that she uses them. Would buy again.

So much better than q-tips or cotton balls
I don't really know what I'm doing still when it comes to leather work, but I set out to make my own leather belt, so I've done a lot of practice dying on small pieces to try to color match my new leather boots. I was using q-tips at first, but they soak up most of the dye until they're saturated and dripping wet. These wool daubers works so much better. They work like you'd hope they do. Dip them in the dye and lightly brush the leather. Works perfectly. I now understand why people use these.I haven't tried any other ones, but these are perfect as far as I'm concerned.

A great alternative to using paint brushes
I use these for staining leather and found them better than using paint brushes which have to be cleaned each time. I clean these also but it only takes a quick dip under some running water and, after drying, they are ready to go again. I have used one of them five times now and it is still in good shape. Their size allows me to insert them into a bottle of stain rather than pouring the stain in a dish when using a paint brush which is very convenient. Their durability and price make them a great buy.

Not the Best
So, these are wool daubers, and it is a lot of them for a low price. BUT they're not the best. The wool is not as dense as other daubers we've used, and in fact, the wire that holds the wool is kind of exposed. If you were careless, I could see the metal making contact with your leather as you're dying, leaving all kinds of scrapes and impressions. We've been careful to treat these daubers as two sided, the front and the back, rather than a spherical head like other daubers. These are also medium sized. We've used Tandy's daubers previously, (they're of better quality, but substantially more expensive than these) and they have two sizes, a small and large. Each has its uses, but these daubers are just about in the middle between the two Tandy sizes. We'll use em, until we use em up, and then maybe try to find a better seller. But if you are on a tight tight budget, and you can be really mindful when using these, you should be able to use them without damaging your leather piece.Hope that helps, and all the best to the swelling ranks of the leather crafters out there!
