Evapolar evaLIGHT Personal Evaporative Air Cooler and Humidifier, Portable Air Conditioner, Blue

I don't think I use this the way it was intended. I wanted to use it to chill a small closed in wine cellar. It's doesn't get cold enough (it needs to get down to 50-60 degrees). It also runs out of water very quickly.

I HATE being hot, and now that the heat is on in my office building, this little AC unit is saving my sanity. I use this in my office. It does blow cool air and humidifies at the same time which in the winter in my roasting hot office is a bonus. It will not cool an entire room. It goes through water much faster than I anticipated but that may be because it is so dry in my office. It is kind of loud, so I do turn it off when on the phone sometimes. But I am so glad I got it on the whole.

The unit does blow cool air, but it does not cool as large of an area as it claims to. If the cool air is blowing directly on you like a fan then it's effective, but it will not cool the 6 foot wide area around your desk. Absolutely not worth the asking price.

Love it!! It is so quiet and the coolness is dry which is awesome. I was afraid of it creating too much moisture or leaks but it did not. Just be careful when changing the water, tendency to splash a little if the container slips off your fingers as you slide it back into place. I use it to keep my PC cooled, now the fans don't work so hard and my PC got much quieter.Would love a timer function for future models or warning when the water gets too low. Great, worth the price!

This works pretty good but won't bring the room temperature down greatly. Good quality though. Helped me sleep a couple of particularly warm nights.
