If the battery lasts 1 year before charging, how long will it likely last before charging a second time? I expect the battery will age...

Hi there! You'll have to recharge every 12 months. Please note that lithium batteries have a lifespan from 300 to 5000 cycles depending on use, so you won't have to worry about them aging in a long time. Hope this helps!
