I like the look and the design. It worked perfectly for about 2-3 weeks, then I came into my office the the light was off. I changed out the halogen bulb thinking it was dead. The light still didn't work. Sliding the dimmer off, then on did nothing. I removed the dimmer from the mix and the light worked. After a day or two I tried the light with the dimmer again and it worked... for about an hour or two, then shut off again. This time I slid the dimmer switch off then back on and the light came on (unexpectedly). It remained on for the rest of that work day (maybe 2-3 hours) until I turned it off. Then, the next day I turned it on and it shut off within an hour. I removed it and just started the return/refund process before my time for it expired. Very cheaply made.

Sturdiness it has. A slider that you can step on and move with ease but not too much you can’t get the light just right. Ample cord but the sturdiness is most impressive.

This replaced a dimmer switch for my torch lamp that had suddenly stopped working. It is the same as the one I replaced. Works like a charm!Three days ago it just decided to stop working...will have to look elsewhere. Unfortunately my return window has closed.
