These are amazing!
Can't recommend these highly enough. As a Primary School teacher, these have been invaluable in helping pupils talk about issues. So well written and in an easily accessibly format for children and adults alike.

Lovely, and very useful!
A lovely book for little ones and very useful as a learning tool, or to promote conversation about emotions. This country is experiencing a mental health crisis, so teaching children to express their feelings in a healthy way is crucial. There are other books in this series so do check those out too!

A little book with some good suggestions
The original Mr Men and Little Miss books always had a message in each one, but in this new series, they have been made more explicit. The stories feature the familiar characters, working together to overcome a challenge - in this case, Mr Worry and Little Miss Shy visiting their friend Little Miss Sunshine.I'm not quite sure where these books are aimed at - the vibrant illustrations say small child, preschool or KS1, but the text would require a confident reader, as the text is quite small and there is a relatively large amount of it. It seems to be the type of book an adult would read to a child and then explore the ideas with them. The suggestions for overcoming worries are quite sound but there is no mention of talking to an adult about them, and writing them down might not work for the target age group, even if they had the vocabulary to verbalise their fears - which is tough enough for an adult to do!It's a lovely concept but I'm not sure how it will play out.
