Great sounding pickup
This pickup is pretty close to an authentic p90! I installed it in the neck position of my Gibson Les Paul and I couldn’t be happier! It cleans up nicely with the volume rolled back and gets good and gritty turned up but retains clarity. Easy enough to install if you’re handy with solder.

Montato su Les Paul tribute del 2017, suono molto interessante, diverso dall’humbucker classico che ho lasciato su un’altra Les Paul. Bellissimo attacco, bella timbrica, da provare…poi de gustibus…

Single coil option without routing your guitar
I put a Phat Cat in the neck position of a 2007 ES-175. I like it. This removes the muddy basstones given by the Classic 57 pickup it replaced.The guitar now offers more of the 'classic' Jim Hall ES-175 with a single coil sound. I prefer this to a P-90 as thehigh mid range seem perfect -- and the lows frequencies are still intact unlike a standard P-90. A worthy choice for you to consider.

Super Pickup für meine G&L Bluesboy
Der Humbucker am Hals meiner Bluesboy klag immer irgendwie sehr "muffig", deshalb habe ich es mir diesem P90 Pickup versucht. Ich wurde nicht enttäuscht, die Gitarre lebt förmlich auf, singt den Blues und hat mehr Wärme bekommen. Mittlerweile spiele sich sehr viel über den Halspickup, weil der P90 einfach sehr gut klingt. Jeder dem der Humbucker am Steg zu wenig Höhen bringt, der sollte mal einen P90 probieren.
