Do not buy this product. I placed this screen protector on my phone and made sure all of the edges aligned and the proximity sensor was not blocked. However, when I made or received phone calls, my phone turned completely black. I was not able access my keypad, turn on speakerphone, press mute, etc. I wasn't even able to hang up the phone! After some research online, others with the same problem recommended removing the screen protector. I tried this and my phone started working again. My Pixel XL's screen correctly lit up when I took it away from my ear, allowing me to access the keypad functions, speakerphone, etc. I believe the issue was because the proximity sensor area for this screen protector is just a clear glass. This clear glass still blocks the function of the phone's proximity sensor. You will need a screen protector that has this proximity sensor area completely cut out in order for the phone to function properly. I am returning this product and am currently still looking for a tempered glass privacy screen protector with the proximity area cut out.

DO NOT BUY THIS!! I had no issues installing the protector but even though there is a light spot over the proximity sensor and it was perfectly aligned, the sensor doesn't work correctly and when you get a phone call, the screen will go black because the sensor thinks it is up by your head and turn off the display. There is no way around this. Finally removed the screen and no more issues. I actually installed an older protector for a different model phone but it didn't cover the sensor and all is good. I wanted the privacy feature and that worked ok but the phone operation seems more important :)

The 'hole' that unblocks the proximity sensor is actually just clear glass, so it still blocks the sensor. It makes the phone unusable with the screen protector on because it turns the screen off thinking it's next to your ear.

The sensor is covered causing the phone to go black during calls and you cannot perform any functions or hang up.

I originally liked it but it kept activating my proximity sensor. Everytime I got a call the screen would go black as if I had it next to my face. I couldn't answer any incoming calls. Tried re adjusting the screen but it didn't work, hole might be too small for sensor in my Google pixel phone

Great privacy screen but not made for a Google Pixel XL. The screen blocks the light sensor so all your calls are blacked out.

When you go to make a call the whole screen is black only when you take off the screen protector will the screen come back on or if the phone hangs up.
