So many uses!
These non-slip gel mats are fantastic and have so many uses!I bought mine specifically to hold an instrument (a mountain dulcimer) in place on a stand to prevent it from sliding. The clear gel mats do the job while allowing the beautiful wood to shine through. I can peel and replace them in any position as often as I need to and they will NOT hurt the finish of my beautiful instrument. As you can see from my video, contrary to what another reviewer stated, these gel mats DO NOT leave marks or residue on the surface.See the attached photos and video to see it in action.Because I'm constantly taking them on and off so I can put my instrument in its case, they do accumulate dust and dirt but it it only takes 10 seconds to run them under warm water and they're clean again.Previously I ordered the gel mat and it was in black so once I discovered the clear mats, I re-purposed the black ones by cutting them into smaller pieces and using them to hold a framed print on the wall. These gel mats worked so well that there is no way this falls from the wall. It's been up for a couple of weeks and even when I put pressure to test the application, it stays firmly in place. These gel mats have so many uses I bought a couple of packs to keep on hand and one for my gig bag. Highly recommended.

These sticky little squares do the job!
I did't think this product would be useful. It actually works. What a surprise!?!I wanted a holder for my phone in the car so I can glance at Google Maps while I drive. The drink holder is too close to my elbow. I don't want to block or ruin my vents by clipping something to them. I don't like dash mounts and my dash does not really have a flat spot anywhere. These little clear sticky squares are amazing. They hold my phone vertically in a weird multi-surface area (half the area is textured and there is a seam across it too).I attached 2 photos.Good thing they come in multiples. I'll try them in a few places.

Not for iPads.
Ads show this product holding an iPad on a wall. Don't do that. It's a lie. Killed my iPad.EDITED TO ADD: Both surfaces were clean when I placed the pad, the back of the iPad and the wall. I affixed the sticky pad to solid, non-porous tile above my kitchen counter. The iPad has no case, so it was smooth metal on the sticky pad. It took a few minutes before the iPad fell, so it did initially stick. The iPad fell from maybe 2 feet onto my counter and the screen shattered in the corner, and cracks run along the entire screen. Also, the seller has contacted me and asked me to remove my review, basically telling me I used the product incorrectly. It's not rocket science. I used it properly.Update 8/23/18: This seller has repeatedly contacted me asking me to change my review, even going so far as to tell me that if I don't change my review the sender of the message will be fired and forced to marry against his/her will. I have gotten at least a dozen messages. This is harassment at this point.

LINT PICKER, REDNECK LAPTOP LOCK AND STOCKING STUFFER
I got the Vokoly sticky gel pads in a set of 8 which was an economical price. Each of them come individually wrapped. I’m using a couple for myself and gifting the other 6 for Christmas stocking stuffers. I thought it would make an unexpected fun utilitarian gift for older kids...but just not my kids. This sticky pad can have strong unintended results. Beware of accidental stupid use of these things. (You’ll have to resist the strange urge to pop it in your mouth and chew it like it’s a gummy bear.) I had one on a flat surface of my laptop and accidentally closed my laptop down on it. I could barely get my laptop open and the laptop casing was almost broken trying to pry it open. But, hey, maybe someone out there might find that useful. However, it worked perfectly keeping my phone firmly mounted on the mirror and also against the tile back splash in the kitchen as well as on the dashboard of my vehicle. I recommend a flat non-contoured surface of the dashboard because the adhesion is dramatically less if it's too contoured. After playing around and sticking it all over the house and after using it to pick lint off of some surfaces, it lost its adhesion. The downside is that after 4 uses with my phone, it loses enough adhesion that my phone won't stick to it. It worked to add a drop of soap and water to clean it off. After it dries the adhesion was back. Fun stuff.

Really REALLY sticky
Holy mackerel, these are sticky and work great! You can cut tiny pieces to use to hold smaller objects in place, such as the corner of a picture. I used a small piece to hold some artsy things on the glass in my cubicle. It's nice that they are clear because they don't show on the "back exposed" side of the glass.Just be sure to cut the piece before you take the backing off. I made the mistake of peeling one and then trying to cut...NOPE.

Work good.
These work very well. I put them under a rug in the den and the rug hasn't moved at all since.

Fantastic product and bigger than I expected!
I use these on my RC quadcopters to affix the battery to the quad before strapping it down, and I have never had a battery come free of a quad in a crash using the combination of a clean vokoly (either brand new or recently washed, because they regain almost all their stickiness after being washed) and an appropriately sized battery strap (sometimes even a bit smaller than I'd like!).I also use them in my vehicle and around the office. These things are amazing! Probably best used for things that aren't super dirty and for things that get stuck down and left there awhile. I found them to be a bit too sticky to affix a phone when fresh if I'm going to be picking it up and putting it back down often.

Sticky but dont adhere to some fabrics.
They are very sticky but did not work for my project. I have large cushions on a bench that slide. The pad would not stick to the fabric, only the wood bench. Not sure why.

Not strong at all and doesn’t stick for long
It didn’t stick a very small 4” x 6” lightweight canvas picture. It is very easy to use and fell the next day. So, of no use if you want to hang something lightweight of value. Is this a satisfaction guaranteed product? Would not buy it again.

Pas du tout ça que je m'attendais. La seul chose que ça tient comme il faut c'est du papier... même chose que de la gomette

They don't work for what i needed them for
I wanted to use them to attach things to the wall. I tried the lightest thing i could find to test them out. They couldn't even hold up a plastic shaver for an hour!!! So disappointed! How are these working for other people?! I don't understand!
