So first, the good. This fan is extremely well built. It's heavy construction really feels of high quality. The plugin is great, the grille's are wonderful. It spins up and moves a decent amount of air. It's almost completely noiseless, which is very easy to appreciate. If you need an AC powered fan, trust me when I say this is by far better than any of the one's I've used, and it's only a couple bucks more. I will certainly buy more of them when the time comes.All that said, there is one downfall to this fan. The clearance between the blades and the housing is too large. I installed this in a project box I built that's 14 1/2" x 13" x 10" with some electronics I want to keep cool but also filtered from the elements. Unfortunately, no matter what filter I put on the box, this fan immediately just starts swirling air around the blades and won't actually move any air. I've tried it in both a push and pull configuration and the result is the same. Anything more restrictive than window screen material and its performance falls flat on its face. I'll probably keep it to set it on my desk at work since it does move air decently in an open environment but it's not going to work for anything that needs any kind of filter.

I purchased this fan to provide active cooling to a Ubiquiti EdgeRouter PoE network router. With the router being located inside of a cabinet full of heat producing computer equipment along with the router not having any active cooling, it was getting very hot to the touch. Heat is not friendly to computer equipment, and the router plays a critical role in my environment.One of the primary reasons I chose this fan was it's ability to run from AC power without a power brick. Most fans of this size are 12 volts DC, which require a power brick which takes up 2-3 outlets on a power strip, space that I could not afford to give up. The power cord for this fan plugs directly into the side and takes up the normal space you'd expect a power cord to take.The fan arrives in a small brown box and is packaged neatly. The "kit" comes with a power cord, mounting nuts and screws, the fan itself, two grilles, and vibration dampeners as well, which was a nice surprise. I fabricated a shroud for the router that positioned the fan directly above the internal heat sink. When mounting the fan, I made sure to use the rubber dampeners between the fan and the mount. Many people have complained that this fan is noisy, but with the dampeners installed and the cabinet door closed, there is no audible noise from the outside.After the installation was completed, I powered up the fan and the airflow was more than enough to keep the router very close to room temperature. I expect the dual ball bearing, metal construction of this fan to outlast the life cycle of the router.

I like the fan enough to have it be installed on my computer. It's a little big for a computer fan but I managed to fit it in there some how. It is totally overkill and it makes the whole thing noisier but I am using my computer as a server and I need the fan to be on all the time anyway, so I say, what the hell, why not just install this. I might change my mind in the near future though, we'll see. I do like the fan all in all though, fairly decent product for the price you pay for it. I tried to buy similar fans at Fry's electronic and they don't see it at the same level or quality as these fans are and that's why I love shopping at Amazon, great selections for the consumers, just take my money Amazon, you deserve to run every business the Amazon way.

I have not tried the unit out yet and it will be some time before I use it in a Halloween prop illusion. I can say the unit is well built, constructed and the fan did work quite well. I'll be using it to draw or pull chilled fog from fogger and sending it up a pump along a house wall to the eave of the house and a horizontal pipe so the fog will drop down out of 15 holes in horizontal pipe. So if it can stand up to this I say It is a superior product. Funny but I think this little bugger will do it.

I worked on mil-spec electronics for many years. This fan is every bit as good as the ones we used. It is whisper quiet and the bearings are superb. I am not at all disappointed with this purchase and will buy more over the next few years. Yes, I am very happy with this item.

The 92 mm fans are just the fans for me. I must say that I was not expecting it to work that well, and it did. I also was expecting there to be problems with the batch but lucky there was no problems with the ones that I bought. People should double check the dimensions before buying though, it was a little bit smaller than I expected. I think the dimensions might be taken with the numbers rounded down, I'm not sure, don't take my word for it, you can see for yourself. I think everything else was good though, not much issues with the fan itself or the ball bearing that it sits on.

The fans are nothing to get excited over. You order these and out of the box you will not need any instructions on how to operate these. It is as is where is and you will be happy with the results because these are fans and it will blow air from one side to the next, what else can you say in a review for fans anyway. It just works well and if you think you would like to use these products to cool stuff you have with lots of heat then buy it because amazon will accept any returns with 30 days of purchase, so it is a pain-free shopping experience.

Great little fan, moves a lot of air, but my god it's loud!

the 4 inch run was to long for the fan i bought so i had to run 5 inch with a faster speed 120 cfm

Good quality. I ordered the one that was supposed to come with the (110) plug already attached but got one that didn’t. Thank god my father was able to attach a cord and plug to for it to work.
