Terrific design + high quality construction - both pretty much as anticipated. Good value for money. But the surprise for me is how much this case improves the way the X100F handles. This is due to the hollowed out bottom plate that allows the left thumb (or curled left ring finger) to rest inside the case, increasing balance + enabling use of lower shutter speeds -- e.g. hand-held 1/15th second. I've owned all 4 generations of the X100 + this case is the best accessory purchased to date. Very nice solid case, not cheap feeling at all! Only negative is i feel it's overpriced. I think this would be fairly priced at $59.00, not $109.00. But either way, still a very nice lock on case!

Feels great! The door at the bottom might make it hard for fat fingers to get the SD card out, but it doesn't bother me much. The aluminum looks like it can take a beating.
