I wear a size 12 1/2 and these shoes fit perfectly. I purchased these shoes for a trip to a cruise ship's private island and a swimming with the dolphin excursion. They were perfect and just what I needed. The shoes are extremely portable and easy to pack. They are very light weight and comfortable enough. I walked a pretty good distance in the shoes without any incident. They slip on and fit like socks, but with a sole and in-sole.The shoes provided my feet with protection from the hot pavement, sand and boardwalk. I did not feel any heat and was able to walk comfortably. The shoe's neoprene material makes them amphibious, perfect to walk on land or in water. I was able to easy and comfortable walk in the water and not have to worry about rough rocks, shells or glass.The neoprene material is also very fast drying, which is cool because it helps slow down the mildew smell. My only issue with the shoes was that they collected a lot of sand in its insoles and interior crevices. I ended up shaking them out in a pool to clean them.Outside of the sand issue, I really like these shoes. The shoes fit like a glove and even though they are not the most comfortable shoe, they are much more comfortable than I expected them to be. I am very happy with my purchase.

I purchased for a “just in case” at the beach. I am so glad I did! My 85 year old dad wore them on the beach. They were perfect for his walk from the condo and down the beach and into the water. They will definitely be asked for our next beach trip.

I really like the two pair of water shoes I got from this company. I got the fish scales and the jelly fish, both fun designs. I like these water shoes for a variety of reasons. The tops of my feet are sensitive and the uppers on these are soft with some give, so there's no scratching or binding. I use them for paddling and getting in and out of the water over lava rock. There's just enough sole to protect my feet from really hot sun-baked lava rock and from sea urchins in the water. Any extra would be heavy and clunky and add weight to my feet when I huli (flip) into the ocean. There's an inner sole that can come out which helps with cleaning and drying. They're perfect! And the sizing seems true. Highly recommend of you want something comfortable and effective but essential coverage.

I ordered 8.5-9.5 and it was too big. I wear a ladies 9 (40). The quality is fine, but for the price difference the SIMARI water shoes are a superior product.
