Invacare SPS1080 Solace Prevention Hospital Bed Mattress, 36" Width, 80" Length

I bought this for my husband for his hospital bed. He’s had an air mattress but it got a hole and it was the second he’d had. I needed a new mattress that would fit his narrow extra long bed and needed it fast. After checking reviews and knowing the brand I chose this one. It arrived really fast and took less than 24 hrs. to add fill out after taking it out of the plastic. It came packed in a box and had been compressed. XL twin sheets fit it well. My husband is bed fast so I was a little concerned about him being on this mattress all the time but he’s had it almost two months and has said it is better than the air mattress he’d had which was one with an electric pump that you could choose the level of firmness. He has slept very well on this mattress and is very happy with the level of firmness. Not too hard to lay on for an extended period of time and not too soft to let him sink into it. He’s been happy with the comfort and I’m happy with the ease of changing the sheets even with him in the bed. Like all mattress I know it won’t last forever but for the price I believe we got a good deal. He is 6 ft tall and weighs 266 lbs. and the mattress does not sink in where he lays and the edges or sides of the mattress don’t give way when he rolls up on the side. I actually slept in it a few nights while he was in the hospital just to see how it felt and I slept very well. I have fibromyalgia and have trouble with pressure points but not while sleeping on this mattress. Very happy and satisfied with this purchase.

Affordable, excellent quality and functionality of air circulation for bedbound patient.

Was using inner spring hospital mattress but this is much better. Easy to clean. Somewhat heavy to lift to put sheets on since the bed is against the wall. Been using these mattresses on other beds in our house for many years and the foam seems to last forever.

I bought this bec what I wanted to buy currently sold out and I can’t wait,but when I received it I totally loved it and I will definitely buy it more when I need it

This was bought for my mother-in-law who has a hospital bed at home. She said it was comfortable and she is not easy to please. Price was great, shipping fast and packaged nicely. Make sure to follow instructions and let the mattress lay flat for a day or so before putting it on the bed. Highly recommend!

Mom states she is sleeping better than she has been for years ! Loves her new mattress! It is fluid resistant, but we are also using chucks “just in case of a an unforeseen accident. We received the mattress right away, packaged nicely, very easy to get out of pkg. very happy with this purchase !
