This volume is amazing, it continues following the now disgraced Ciel Phantomhive, who are now on the run and taking refuge in Lau's seedy establishment of opium. This volume focuses on the aftermath of Mey Rin and Ran Mao going to Yorkshire to investigate a Baron's manor for the rapid turnover of maids there, uncovering the baron's obsession with finding someone like his dead wife, not to mention the undercover operation of blood collecting, which they then destroy all evidence of.We then cut to Lau and Baldo, who are investigating a sanatorium for ex servicemen, and I tip my hat to the author as one reveal over who one of the doctors is, was both a shock and a delight, as he hasn't been seen for a while and I wasn't expecting it in the slightest! The novel ends partway through a flashback to Baldo's past, so I shall be intrigued to discover what happened to the cook.I can't wait for the next volume!! :D No seriously, it needs to be published like now, so I can read it!

I hope this series never ends I enjoy and love it so much!!!
