Not for wet food
It is a good alternative to plastic ones. I really like that it is biodegradable; just throw away or compost in the backyard. You are eating off of basically a large popsicle stick, though, and you feel the wood grain in the mouth. It is not suitable for wet food as you can really start to taste the wood.I think they could coat it with wax or something like it to avoid these issues and it would still be biodegradable when broken in half before disposal to break the coating seal.

Worked well
We use these at the wedding. We felt much better about not having a lot of plasticware go to the dump

My cat hasn't complained
I use these to scoop out my cat's canned food. For that purpose, they're fantastic. But I don't think I'd enjoy using them to eat off of. Remember those wooden mini spoons that used to come in the lids of ice cream cups? They're like that, but full size. The texture and "woody" taste is going to be pretty much the same regardless of which brand you choose, though, so if you're invested in having sustainable, biodegradable forks, these are as good as any others you're likely to find. They are, to their credit, fairly smooth, and the shape is uniform and consistent. In a package of 100, I had one fork with a slightly warped tine, but that didn't impact its usage at all. The rest were perfect. They are durable, too, and I can see myself using them for all kinds of non-food things, like doing kitchen science with my kids or potting small plants. The only thing that would keep me from using them to eat with is the fact that they are made of wood, which is, in fact, exactly what I signed up for.

Pretty sturdy for wood
I prefer these over the plastic looking compostable forks. These are study and have a better feel in the hand.

Happily Bamboozled by Birch Forks
I'm back in at the office, and when I eat my daily lunch salad with a Bamboozler wooden fork, it gets discussed, which has led to the conversion of co-workers who no longer toss plastic forks into the landfill.Oddly, these are birchwood, not bamboo: a bit disingenuous from a company named "Bamboozler," but birch is also sustainable, eco-friendly, disposable, biodegradable, compostable, and renewable, so those boxes are still checked. They're an ample dinner fork-sized, and the fact they visually evoke a touch of "spork" is a bonus, and a conversation piece used to further the crusade against chemical, single-use plastics. At time of publishing, these forks go for $0.17/count in a pack of 100, which makes Bamboozlers a great value, too, at this low price. - (Was this of use? If so, let me know by clicking "Helpful". Cheers!)

Wouldn't buy again
These definitely aren't for me. When using them it leaves kind of a woody taste in your mouth. I've only used it two or three times because I'm not a fan.
