Great tape delay at a bargain price
I’m a fan of good tape delay. I play ambient guitar and run in stereo. After finally deciding to get a dedicated tape delay, it came down to this unit versus the El Capistan. I like what this delay offers and it sounds great. My only minor complaint is that the stereo field is not very prominent. This is not a deal breaker because I typically run delays into a stereo reverb that will create a lush stereo field. The display could be a bit larger for easier readability but at least it has one (El Cap does not). Having three tapes heads that you can use in many combinations creates a lot of options and sonic flexibility, from short slapback to long ambient repeats. It will go into self oscillation if you want that effect also but it’s very manageable. All in all a great tape delay at a great price.

Love this unit. Great alternative to a Space Echo
I play a lot of Shoegaze style tones. I have a DigiTech RP-1000 multi-effects unit and a Zoom MS-70CDR.I layer multiple delays, chorus, reverb, etc. I didn't want to shell out the money for a Space Echo. So after extensive research I decided to try this unit, especially based on the reasonable price.I am very pleased with the tape echo features. It lets me get exactly the tone I was looking for. I don't use the reverb, as I have multiple other reverbs that sound better for my needs. I believe for less tone-intensive styles of music the reverb might be adequate. As most reviews state, the spring reverb setting is quite usable, but the hall/plate setting seems to be anemic, at least to my ears. This thing is built like a tank. I use it for home recording and for playing at church every Sunday. It appears to be virtually indestructible. My signal path is: Equalizer -> RP-1000 -> (Effects Loop -> Zoom MS-70-CDR -> NUX NDD-7) -> volume pedalI have used this with a vintage Les Paul, a semi-acoustic electric and a Telecaster. Sounds fabulous with all my guitars. I am very pleased with the features, tone, build-quality and value of this unit.

Very good for the mobey
For the price, these things are a steal. My only complaint is that the echo amplitude is not quite loud enough. If the echo loudness control provided about 6dB more gain, this echo would be almost perfect. For the price, however, it is an outstanding value.

Great sound and functionality
Great pedal. Not just great “for the money”, but a fantastic pedal in its own right compared to more expensive pedals. You can dial in your rate time to the ms you need. You can select wow , flutter and saturation as secondary features. The sound ranks up there with the big name pedals. You can only set one major feature at a time to an expression pedal such as rate or feedback. You can’t set multiple features to be controlled by an exp pedal. But this would be a reasonable limitation at this price point. Don’t hesitate to get one.

Love it. Fun and affordable
Sounds awesome. It can definitely work as an affordable tape delay with great sounds. An expensive alternative to the Strymon Volante, which I also own.

Easy to use!
Pro: In a very short time, useful settings were found. Useful results & ease of use are top notch.Con: No definition of saturation, wow, or flutter given or description of how they effect the sound.WOW fluctuations below 4HzFLUTTER fluctuations above 4HzSATURATION % toward maximum where a magnetic field cannot further increase the magnetization of the tape

Affordable, but not cheap
A better value. Great little machine and viable alternative to more costly tape delay pedals. Sounds great, easy to work. Midi capable and quality build. Affordable, in comparison with, say BOSS, equivalents, but build is better, IMHO.
