A well made lock with good instructions
Great lock. My super commented how nice it looks. I installed it myself in an hour or so. Good directions. I used my old cylinder but it comes with a matching one. It appears to be good quality. Probably very close to if not the same quality as ones being sold for 2-4 times the price. It was the best deal on this type of lock and I’m so glad I bought it. It’s been in for a few weeks now and still functioning well. I admit that I have some experience with locks and have been playing around with them since my mid-teens so installation was a cinch for me but it’s not rocket science. I wanted to have a better lock than the beat up loose one my NYC landlord provided and this made me happy for only about fifty bucks

So far...it's a lock
I changed all the fixtures on the door and previously had a shiny brass lock from the same company. I changed every thing to a satin nickel and I am pleased that the lock came with no physical scratches and what I presume is it's original packaging (it was an open box) and all the pieces were sealed in plastic. Received delivery a day ahead of schedule. Tested the two keys that came with the lock and both work perfectly well. I had the lock professional installed. The locksmith said the install wasn't difficult, and it didn't seem so to me either.

Nice and sturdy, Easy install
Worked great for my exterior door. We ordered left hand, should've ordered a right. It was simple to switch it over to right hand, a YouTube video is suggested for step by step instructions.

Great Lock
This is a great lock, smooth locking mechanism and easy install. I am a landlord and highly recommend these to other landlords and property owners.

2.5" backset, mortise lock. Our 105 year old set was missing......
We didnt want to spend $500 having a locksmith replace it or throw money guessing what sets work. Are there better lock sets? probably and they are also 4-10x the price. This actually worked for us and we love the price. 2.5" backset, 10" front faceplate, 7" rear face plate. Very easy to install with a chisel or two and a couple hole saws.
