The technology on this has blown me away...the blade compartment has as much engineering as the international space station... And the shaver works with 3mm hair very efficiently. The design is extremely likeable. Cleaning/charging station is cherry on top. A lot of things in box made my unpacking experience very nice. And works on dry beard well. Only two small things I want to mention would have been improved are one, it wasn't catching the two to three hairs lying flat on the middle of the neck. Two, the build quality is not exceptionally good and more weight and robustness could be achieved. I maybe am nit picking. Its just a really quick razor with well engineered insides. If it lasts 10 years for me, I would not mind the steep price. I really love it. I love Braun and use their series 9 trimmer and an Oral B iO8 etc...they are just better at design than that other brand. And the thing I like the most and the reason I buy Brauns products because they don't weld their batteries to the circuit board like Philips does. For me this is a deal breaker because I fix stuff and I don't like the anti repair tactics they use. I give this razor a solid 9.5 out of 10. Compared to Philips series 5000 which scores an 8. And plastic clips on the inside of the Philips almost always break while taking it apart. But everything aside now, Braun is a no nonsense brand which makes quality electronic devices. I spent almost half of my 2 months bank balance on this please don't think I am sponsored. I just like this brand because of the quality and innovation that's all. I even buy Olay and head and shoulders regularly and their dental floss. P&G is excellent. Thank you for not going into coma reading such a python of a review. HGD.

The product is not worth the money i purchased it thinking it will save my time and would be easy than shaving but first its difficult to cut neck hair and the trimmer provided behind is very flimsy and low quality like 500 rs trimmer so its useless the shaver is good but without wash and renew liquid it starts to jam the refill is around 800 for pack of two and will last 6 months. now my device have stopped working i have requested for warranty repair braun has a centralised service centre and told me that they will pick-up my product on 21st of jan but till now there is no response for them built quality is also not so great i have a philips trimmer costing 4k it has same built quality to that. replacement head is also very costly around 10k for that amount its better to buy new shaver of 10k every 2 year .

I have been using shavers since long, mostly, Philips Norelco but have never had the satisfaction of a close shave. I tried Braun this time and, although I have only had a couple of shaves, I must say it is excellent except bring slightly expensive. I checked the prices on Amazon, USA where it has been listed as $255 which is just about our price.

Be aware before buying this: The shaver is good but the shaver head is not available in India. The customer care of P&G and Braun are pathetic. I wanted to get the shaver head replaced as it was in warranty, however the customer care blatantly denied it. They said that the shaver heads are not getting shipped from the company. Really surprised to believe this. Absolutely ridiculous. I dont know whether it is an issue with P&G or with the trade restrictions that the govt of India has. Not sure if others are facing the same issue in India. I am writing this review from Blr!

I have used Braun shaver for 30 to 35 years. Somehow this shaver takes more time as it does not take the hairs out, have to go back and forth,lm which is unusual. Almost looks like they have different grades and are using a lower quality to Indian Buyers. Any ways, I can not proove it. I may stop shaving and just buy a trimmer only. Also I may be going to USA in the next 10 to 15 days for official work, but will be back after wards. I am planning to have a meeting or thru a phone call with California Amazon agent, I thgink there amy bebtwo-one in Sanfrancisco and other in Los Aneles area. California is a bit state. - R.S.
