Really enjoyed this! Audiobook was also amazing!
I actually downloaded both the audiobook and ebook of this from my library and I’m so glad I got both because the audiobook completely brought Levi to life for me! This story is dual POV and Levi is such a quiet closed-off character but the narrator’s tone of voice and southern boy accent added so much to the character to me that I can’t imagine having the same experience without that!Georgie just wrapped up an assistant job in LA and is coming back home to regroup and help her BFF Bel friend as she settles into a new house and gets ready to have a baby. But it all makes Georgie realize she doesn’t even know what her own dreams are anymore - it’s always revolved around helping other people reach their dreams. She and Bel find their friend fic notebook from 8th grade and it’s filled with their visions and goals for high school. Georgie decides to go back and fulfill those dreams and that hopefully they’ll help her realize her present dreams.Georgie’s parents have accidentally double booked their house while they’re away - both Georgie and Levi (and Hank, his dog!) are staying there for a few weeks. They eventually form some type of friendship and Levi ultimately offers to help her with her list. Levi of course is on his own journey. He’s been essentially kicked out of his family for a lot of trouble that he’s caused over the years. He owns his own business and keeps his world very small to keep his new reputation in check. Until he meets Georgie, that is, and he sees how her approach to life is so different.I loved Georgie’s exploration. It definitely made me think about my own dreams and visions for the future! And I loved the way she and Levi complemented one another, understood one another’s deepest feelings of not knowing where they belonged, cheered one another on, and built their own family with Hank.

Heartwarming read! 4.5 stars!
BOOK: Georgie, All AlongAUTHOR: @kateclayborn.authorRATING: 4.5/5 starsGENRE: Fiction/Contemporary RomancePUBLISHER: @kensingstonbooksPUB DATE: 1/24/23SYNOPSIS: Georgie Mulcahy grew up in her hometown of Darentville, VA and was best friends with Bel. The two girls shared different personalities; Bel the straight-A student on the straight and narrow, and Georgie who always loved living in the moment and not really applying herself academically. Fast forward several years and Georgie finds herself working as a PA for several in the entertainment industry in LA. 3 years after working hard for Nadia, Nadia decides she wants to retire and tells Georgie that she should now do all the things she’s ever wanted to do. Trouble is, Georgie has never really had a “Grand Plan” in place. She decides to move back home to her parents’ and help out Bel, who is now 8 months pregnant with a new home in Darentville.Georgie arrives back in town while her parents have taken a trip away for a few weeks to travel. But a surprise awaits Georgie when an unexpected, handsome guest (Levi Fanning, a.k.a Georgie’s childhood crush’s older brother) also arrives to stay at her parents’ while his home is having repairs. A mix-up of sorts by her parents. They’d forgotten they had previously promised Levi that he could stay while they were away. The two see their predicament, but respectfully decide to share the place over the course of the next few weeks. While helping her best friend unpack boxes the next day, Georgie’s and Bel’s 8th grade “friendfic” notebook is rediscovered, and it’s chocked full of their childhood dares & dreams. Georgie is left realizing there are so many things she’s never fulfilled and accomplished. This sets in motion an enlightening journey for her over the course of several months.REVIEW:This was a sweet and sometimes funny story about the life of Georgie, and how not everyone grows up knowing exactly what they want to be when they grow up and what direction their adult life with take them. It’s full of endearing moments, a little romance and spice, and it definitely warmed my heart!

sweet but meh
I felt that many of the words in this book were filler. I was bored and cringed a lot, and I’m not entirely convinced that this is the same author of Luck of the Draw, which is by the way, a perfect book. This one just… was ok. I finished it although I skimmed a lot because it was just boring.

Heart warming
A lovely story of two people who find a deep wonderful love, but not without some bumps in the road.

Cover and back page cut too short
I’m sure book is great. But Amazon has sent another book with the cover and back page too short and exposes the inside pages.Really frustrating…. It seems whoever is doing the binding of books has no care.

great story
I love the easy, fun, flawed characters. It’s the first book of Kate Clayborn I read, but I’m definitely going to check out the rest!

all the feels
I only discovered Kate Clayborn this year & I can’t get enough of her. This book is perfect from start to finish.
