SYNAGY Car Headrest Mount Holder for 10" ~ 10.5” Swivel & Flip Style Portable DVD Player

Just bought this SYNAGY to replace a WONNIE DVD player that suddenly DIED (with sparks) after 6 mo's.Pros for SYNAGY:1. Quieter motor!! On the WONNIE, I could hear the motor/DVD spinning, but this spinning/motor is almost silent~! This is great.2. The SYNAGY does not get ~hot~ underneath, even when plugged in.3. In SETUP, you can set the player to resume where you left off...and it works--even if you totally TURN OFF the DVD player!!!4. When I bought it, there was a promo to get the case (to hang on a car headrest) for free. Check on that before you buy. $10 value.5. The SYNAGY comes with a car charger!6. Bigger screen...but heavier overall.7. Volume is far louder on this SYNAGY player.8. WONNIE Customer Service did not respond when I emailed/told them that the unit DIED during its warranty period. I had to use my SquareTrade warranty--and prove that I'd reached out to the manufacturer, with no response. WONNIE has no CS phone number. SquareTrade could not reach them!Cons against SYNAGY:1. On the WONNIE, I could ~turn off the display~ to make it dark (to save battery power...or when I wanted to fall asleep) when playing a CD. I loved that. Can't do it on the SYNAGY.2. WONNIE was more compact and very light (but maybe not as sturdy?).3. The WONNIE came with headphones, which I never tested.4. The WONNIE was about $20 less expensive.5. The WONNIE's softer, lower volume was a "plus" when I was using it as a CD player, to fall asleep.The SYNAGY's ~lowest~ volume setting (01) is still too loud for falling asleep. :( Bummer....Same:Both swivel.Both came with a remote control.Different:Not sure this matters, but the WONNIE had a mini- or micro-USB port for the power cord.The SYNAGY has an old-school round port/connection to power cord.This means that the car charger also has a round connector plug to the device.This means I can use the car charger for my older devices (portable CD player, etc.)!Thanks, SYNAGY!!***The main thing I like about the SYNAGY is the nearly silent motor/spinning, since I listen at low volumes.***MAKE SURE YOU BUY (Asurian, SquareTrade, etc.) PROTECTION/COVERAGE FOR YOUR ELECTRONIC DEVICES MADE IN CHINA. They're fun at first, but you need them to work for years.... The protection is so cheap... and really worth the investment!!

No problems with set-up pretty simple just had to figure out the memory of when you turn off the player and turn it back on it play where you left off in the settings once I figured that out it was all good. Sound is great just loud enough for my son it's not overwhelming and not to low where straining to hear it over traffic. The only complaint I have in the power cord to recharge the player is to short for my Ford F-150 if your child is rear facing. The picture is very nice and clear, the remote is a plus but a little difficult to use sometimes but no big deal. Other than that it was worth buying.

Returned the item due to the fact that with the right fit to the DVD player, it causes inadvertent button pushes. While using in our car and we’d hot a bump, it would jostle and begin fast forwarding through the DVD due to the button being triggered while within the case.

Bought a portable DVD player for my grandson to watch movies in the car when we have to drive long distances. I needed something to put it in so he didn’t have to hold it in his lap. I bought the Synagy headrest mount holder and it’s perfect! The DVD player fit perfectly and when mounted on the headrest, it was perfect! The price was great too. I highly recommend it to everyone!

Did NOT fit my 10.1" portable DVD player at all! Very disappointed!!

Picture quality has noting to do with this product. It holds the DVD player in place and easy to use. Recommend.

To the touch it feels a little bit flimsy or cheap, however it works and plays great. Loads very quickly, runs through and plays nicely. Would be great to have a resume feature for times when you need to stop so you don't have to start all over again. However, for the price this has a very good picture and it's seems to just be a very good quality unit. Family loves it!

Doesn't fit as well as I hoped. The straps are in such a place that if the DVD player slides down they interfere with charging cord or headphone cord.
