Karman LT-980-SI-E 24 Pound Ultra Lightweight Wheelchair with Elevating Leg Rest, Silver

I had a big problem with this wheelchair and this company. It arrived in a box totally ripped open and held together in plastic wrap. There was also a problem with the foot rest that could not connect to the chair properly. The company fought me all the way when I tried to return this item. They made me send pictures of the problem and kept wanting more information, every time I sent them more pictures it wasn't enough. I'm sure they just did not want to pay for the return shipping. They told me I could return the chair at my cost. How sweet of them! Horrible return policy. Therefore I would never recommend this company to anyone. Absolutely the worst!!

Ours is the Karman LT-980-SI-E. We are senior citizens and bought this for the occasion when one of us needs it, which is not daily or for use in the house-yet. This chair has obvious quality lacking in lower priced models which we returned. The mechanics are better built and more rugged than the competition. Its weight is very low and therefore easy to lift, allowing strain-free storage in back of our car, is small enough to store easily in the house (especially with its folding back), and with the elevating leg rest option will work in all situations which we will face in the coming years. We were also very pleased that the length of the footrests are easily adjustable without tools, making a comfortable ride for whichever one of us needs it. The Amazon PRIME price was also an important part of this purchase. It is well worth the few extra dollars spent.

Great wheelchair! Narrow enough to get through doorways and lightweight. No problem getting it in the trunk.

Leg rests aren't adjustable, and with my feet on the rests, my knees are in my chest. Horrid design, Also, tires have barely ANY traction on hard surfaces no matter what the surface is made of: concrete, wood ... ANY hard surface of any material.I am disgusted with the item; 'wish I hadn't bought it, wish more that it doesn't meet my most minimal needs. Don't buy this item. I don't believe I can do anything worthwhile with this but to donate it to Goodwill, or just toss it to the metal salvagers.

The statement that it will hold a 6' tall 250lbs person is wrong. I am only 5'10" and it was far too short for me.

This chair is easier for me to left.

I use this a lot when I'm going shopping. It is so much lighter than my old wheelchair and much lighter for my daughter to store in the trunk of the car.
