Fire Truck (Wheelie Books)

Just as expected, great combo of book and toy.

We saw this at the local chain book store but the line was too long, so I thought when I do my next amazon order I would look for it.My son loves it - as he loves all things concerning a fire engine.it holds his attention for long periods of time as he opens it up and looks at the pictures. then after a while he closes it up and goes on the floor and rolls it around like he does with all his other cars. it seems like good construction, and he has played with it for a few weeks now, still waking up in the morning and the first toy he looks for is this one.i also bought the wheelie dump truck (didnt go over that big- nothing wrong with it, he just isnt into dump trucks i guess) and I bought the puppy on wheels book for my daughter (also 2 and a half) - she can take it or leave it.my son also loves school busses so i am considering that wheelie book next time.

My 1-year-old son loves playing with this book because of the wheels. The book has very little pages and it's not really something we read to him. Its skinny enough to bring along when we go out to eat so that he's occupied.

The fact it has wheels is great, but it doesn't read like a book a child would be interested in

It’s a fire truck book made to be a fire truck. Wild stuff. The story is a little thin though.

Our toddler grandson loves this book. He plays with it like a toy fire engine and loves the pictures on the pages as well.

The most unique factor about the book is the fact that it has wheels and can be played along ( rolled) with as well as read. That said, if it is viewed just as a book - it is not that great. The picture quality is not that great - they have different types of fire trucks on each page and the pages are not that thick. But my 2-year old loves fire trucks and adores this book :)

Child loves it as he can choose to read it or roll it

Cute book. Love that there is Velcro closure to keep the book closed so that it can be used as a rolling toy.

This book is so adorable! We have it on our sons dresser in his fire truck themed bedroom and it looks great! I'm sure he will love having a book that drives when he gets a bit bigger!

この本は、消防車型のボードブックにおもちゃのしっかりした車輪がついています。そして走らせると倒れることなく、すいすい走ってくれます　　内容はアメリカの消防車が写真で紹介されています。数種類の消防車がどんな仕事をするかなどちょっとした説明がついていて、容易な英語なのでわかりやすいです。　1才３ヶ月息子は、働く車が大好きで、とくに消防車は消防署に見に行くほど好きで、我が家では、この本は雨の日に大活躍してくれます！お出かけでもおもちゃとして、本として、一石二鳥のいいものを買ったなぁーと思います。　遊びつつ英語に触れられるところが大変気に入りました。同時に、もう少し大きくなれば自然と「外国にはこんな消防車があるのかぁ。」とこどもの世界を広げて!やる事が出きるのではと思います。部屋のインテリアとしてもオススメです！
