My review is for the ALASTIN Skincare ReFORM & RePAIR Body Recovery Treatment (5 oz) | Moisturizer Cream for Post-Procedure Care | Supports New Collagen ProductionI wish there was more of an instruction on when specifically to use this after your surgery, since the skin is soooo sensitive (and vulnerable) following a surgery. So, because I couldn't figure that part out safely, I just tried this out as a regular moisturizer, using it on only 1 leg. After a few days, I did not notice any difference, although it was just a fine moisturizer.I have quite sensitive skin, and so I'm generally cautious when trying new products like this (though not severe enough that I first patch test). I'm happy to report that I did not experience any redness or irritation during or after using this...which is baseline expectation for a product intended to be used after surgery.Bottom line: I would probably not purchase again unless suggested by my doctor

I have been trying Electrolysis for 4 weeks but my skin does not like the process. So, while the excess hair is diminishing, I’m now suffering with pustules and scarring.When I saw this ALASTIN Skincare ReFORM & RePAIR Complex, I decided to try it because it is designed for Post-Procedure Care of bruising and scars.Normally, my skin looks horrible after electrolysis and it takes 2 to 3 weeks to resolve the swelling and pustules. I was really ready to just stop the sessions, but decided I would try it a few more times.After my last electrolysis session, I immediately applied the ALASTIN Skincare ReFORM & RePAIR Complex and continued to apply it 3 times a day. (The instructions suggest 2 times per day.).The 5 ozs of Complex is dispensed from a pump-type container. It is a thick cream with a slight fragrance. It absorbs instantly.I saw actual improvement in swelling and there were only a few pustles 2 days after electrolysis. By day 5, I could hardly tell I had electrolysis. My skin looked pretty much healed and smooth. I am thrilled with the cream and am hoping it helps to diminish some of the hyperpigmentation.During my next Electrolysis session, the Tech was amazed at how well my skin was looking because normally it’s a mess. I told her about the ALASTIN Skincare ReFORM & RePAIR Complex. She’s thinking about putting some of the Complex in her “After-Care Kits”. That says it all.

I’m using this on the recommendation of my plastic surgeon but not sure it works as they say

I was recommended this moisturizer cream for healing an injury. I don't have anything to compare it to, but scarring appears to be minimal, which is exactly what I was hoping for. I've been using it as a facial moisturizer too since I have a lot left, and I really like it. It leaves my face feeling smooth and nourished. I don't know that I've seen this referenced, but it also does an amazing job with healing from sunburn.

This cream is lightweight and absorbs quickly, doesn’t cause any skin reaction. However, I haven’t noticed any healing / scar reducing properties yet, even though have been using it for some time

It was recommended to me to use this both pre and post procedure for best results. I can't say how it'll be post procedure yet, but using it pre procedure has proven to be very beneficial for my skin. It is deeply hydrating and smoothing. The cream absorbs well and fairly quickly leaving my skin feeling smooth and silky. A little of this goes a long way and I think one bottle would last for a few months depending on the size of the area you're covering. It's a very nice product that works as expected.

I've been using this consistently for two weeks and it's a great moisturizer, although I'm guessing it takes much longer to see any significant skin-firming results. I'm currently working on some weight loss and I'm hopeful that this Alastin treatment can help my skin stay in shape and keep up with my changing size. If nothing else, my skin feels thoroughly nourished and healthy with the use of this cream. It has a very comfortable consistency (not thick or too heavy), absorbs well, and has little to no noticeable scent. I'm happy with it so far.
