I've been desperately searching for clips in this exact shape/format that are 2.5" in length to replace some I found about a decade ago, and are on their last leg. The product information says "the size of this small hair clip is approximate 2 inches." Not close enough to 2" as I had hoped. These will not hold enough of my very thick, straight hair unless multiples are used [which I do not like]. Returning.Their coloring/texture is matte. I did open and close one clip, and the surface did not flake off or wrinkle.

The clips hold my hair nice and tightly but I noticed the color is already chipping off of a few and I've only had them for about a month.

Yes, finally, I found some great clips. The prong design really helps hold hair. We bought these to hold my daughters bangs back during her softball games and practices. These are great, great buy get a lot of them, finally some good clips.

These are a great value. I took one star away because they seem to not hold unless you use hairspray with it or to use 2 criss cross.

These look just like some from name brand hair products. However, these don’t have the little gripping dots so they don’t stay in my hair as well. Love the colors though.

I have curly hair and bought something similar in black. They were perfect. Got these for the colours but they don't snap shut in my thick hair. I have to add some extra bend to them, but then they dig in a bit.
