This hour meter is trash! Don't buy it! It doesn't work. It was DOA. The mounting clamp is useless- it doesn't clamp tightly to the control panel. Because of this it won't stay level. Do yourself a favor and spend a few dollars more and get a quality meter

Looks great but within 80 hours it stopped counting however we can still hear it ticking and tocking when the ignition is the on position. Maybe it isn't very rugged since it was installed in a pleasure boat and thats where it failed. Maybe it isn't 100% water proof ...seems it was ruined from light rain that lasted just a few minutes and managed to hit the dashboard and hour meter a bit. Im trying a different brand and will review that one next.

Inexpensive item, but it seems to be working fine. Mounting is a bit tricky on a thick panel though. Would mount much better on a thinner panel

Junk, never worked right out of the box, thought i needed to take the boat out for run just to see if it would start working. Nope never did, i inspected the wires and found the terminals were broken right off. I am returning for a refund,

Works like a Charm as a replacement for the Digital one that came installed on my Husqvarna Riding Mower that stopped working after 1 year, and even though this has a Black face and does not match the silver Charging meter on the other side who cares as long as it works.I would also like to add that this meter comes with two flimsy (JUNK) crimp on connectors which I didn't use because I used two heavy duty weather proof connectors.Will that was "SHORT LIVED" I installed this shortly after I received it and it was showing the Hours of use just fine, then the other day I look at it and it went from 7 Hours to over 700 with in a weeks time where it has STOPPED, I should have known what kind of meter I was getting for the cheap price paid.
