I avoided 'installing" them because the 'installation' directions were quite brief and not very clear. Also, the pictures seemed to be of a similar, yet different, item. I finally figured it out and it tuned out to be really simple.They're holding up well. Each of the two are holding relatively large, heavy towels quite securely. I wish they were shiny silver, but the while blends in with the white tile in our shower.

These are great! The suction cup dial allows for a tight seal. You can place them on any smooth surface for an extra place to hang an item rather than have it sit on a shelf. It comes with the option to stick it to the wall should you not have a smooth surface.

WOW! These are so strong. I bought them to use in our RV, since we have several walls that are mirrors, but I wanted to utilize the wall space some way. These suction cups will serve me well. I discovered that I can remove the orange band, which makes the hook all white. I think it would be fairly easy to replace it with another color using ribbon, yarn or even tape. Definitely one of my better purchases.

I put 2 hooks up on ceramic tile in May. They hold bath towels almost 24/7. As of Oct they are still holding in the original position with no adjustments or slipping. The hook style is a little flat and small and I wish they were available in a chrome finish.
