This is the nicest and most effective sun shield I've ever purchased. I especially like the rods on both ends that make it more secure to the window, as well as the choice of tension straps that fit to the mirrors. A bit tall for my VW Jetta but it also sits low enough to use the wiper blades to secure at the bottom.

This is our second purchase of the solar guard. Since it is on the outside the windshield doesn’t get hot. The dash and steering wheel also stay cool. It is easy to out on and stays in place even when it is windy. Even has a storage bag.

The shade material is good.....however, the straps are weak and should be replaced with something stronger...velcro straps ?

Where do I start?The material, thin as paper... ok well, maybe 2 pieces of paper. The sewing is shoddy. Excess thread everywhere. The instructions that came with it, is like just 6 pictures. Not helpful at all. The plastic rods, and how they are inserted, combined with the elastic straps, and putting this on, and off your vehicle is not fun, or easy.Do not buy!

It fits like its factory on my 2011 Expedition. And it gives such a classy look. I purchased the silver. If you have accessories on your windshield or dash this is the item you want.

I snagged this after doing some homework on internal vs external windshield visors. I measured out my car's windshield, clicked buy, and crossed my fingers. This fits really well and keeps my car's internal temperature down much longer than without! It rolls up nicely. My only gripe and it was an easy reevaluation of my assembly is that the tubes go inside the edges of the visor. The instructions were not super clear to me and I had tried to place it on the outside of where they belonged (So there's my hint to you!).Otherwise, super easy to assemble and install!

Material does block the sun, though the assembly and workmanship of the product is lacking. First of all there should be 2ea pockets on either side of the sunshield to hold the ends of the left and right supporting rods that are inserted. Instead, there is 1 pocket on the top of the shield (either side) that are 2 small to support the poles with the protective caps on them. So what happens, is the poles end up sliding out the bottom of the sun shield, even when the bands are wrapped around either side of the vehicle mirrors to draw the sunshield taught across the windshield. Poor quality control! Mine will be returned with No customer satisfaction.
