Very sturdy.
Well-made, very sturdy, easy to use, unfortunately easy to lose for me. Which is why I ordered them a second time.

Good ruler but there is an issue to consider
Good quality, accurate, etched, double sided...all great things I like about these rulers. Something they didn't consider was flipping the metric/imperial scales on the other side.On these rulers the marks are so that metric is on the left edge and imperial is on the right. If you flip the ruler over, the marks are the same orientation. They should have had the opposite side have metric on the right edge and imperial on the left. This essentially gives you a ruler that will have marks of your desired unit on whichever side you want. There are times where you can only measure on one edge of the ruler due to movement constraints but the unit you want isn't on the accessible edge of the ruler.

Adequate Value for Money
Heavy duty is a bit of a stretch but these are an adequate value for the money. Lines are etched and filled and the scales seem to be reasonably precise for what you are getting. I was surprised to see that the ruler was engraved on both sides (same scales). I wish the metal was a bit thicker, but with careful handling, they should do the job until they inevitably get bent. The rulers could be improved by printing the reverse sides with a centering scale, where zero is in the middle and the scale increases outwardly from each side of the zero mark. An alternative improvement would be to print the flip side with inches on the top and mm's on the bottom (what ever is opposite the front side.) This would help for measuring curved surfaces where the straight edge of the ruler (across the curve) makes it necessary to guess actual lengths against a curved edge. It could also be improved by being a bit thicker. Other than that, they do the job.

Sharp, accurate edges, and disappointingly, un[der] tempered
It is exactly? as described. I presumed the advertised, "Premium stainless steel," meant tempered... My mistake, so only down a little for this.
