The media could not be loaded.  I got this in white, and it’s a good little unit. Like many others, I have a ton of CDs. I moved and gave away my huge stereo system, losing the option to play CDs. I got this to hear some old meditation CDs, and it has turned out great in the end.First unit sent to me did not work. I returned it and the second unit arrived quickly. I put in batteries and learned they are short lived. Put some in and they died before end of day. Plugged USB cord into my power strip by my bed (you need the power block) and I’m back in business and LOVE not having to bother with batteries…though I may change my mind next time I travel. When I do try batteries again, I will make sure they are brand new and good brand, and will bring my portable charger…First few days I went through all my motivational CDs. I found that the included earbuds work okay for those. Although not great, they are good enough for light voice trying to relax me. When I changed to my own better earbuds, I found that player static came through like white noise behind the quiet voice. Still okay, but noticeable.Using my own earbuds with music was much better than voice CD as music covers most or all of device static (medium quality earbuds abit better than high quality). I changed to higher quality earbuds and they have bigger sound, even at lower volume. That said, I think volume control is fine! Less than half volume is big enough for me! Full volume with better earbuds would blow out my eardrums, so I won’t go there unless I’m attached to speakers rather than ears. 😜Controls are small and you do need to memorize them for ease of use. When I first advanced tracks, CD got into a search mode and changed tracks every 12 seconds. Don’t know if that’s intentional or not. It stopped when I pressed hard play. It didn’t do it again next time I changed tracks, so who knows?I agree with others who say it’s easy to press too hard on cover and have it stick. You then have to pull up on side to open (see video). It seems that only happens if I close from center front. I’ve learned it’s best to close gently from one side or other instead of center and it doesn’t happen.Like others have said, the unit is hard plastic, so who knows how long it will last. I’ve shaken it, tapped it soft and hard, and swung it around and it keeps playing. I plan to treat it gently! For $25 I think it’s a winner!

I wanted something so I could listen to my CD’S again. This is perfect. Sounds amazing and even comes with the crappy cheap headphones that kill the inside of your ears lol I think my only complaint( which is universal it seems) is that the buttons are the same color as everything else so you can’t tell which one is which. Though you do memorize them after awhile, it would be easier if you could read the labels on them

Great cd player! The battery does run out kinda quick but if you use it for only a couple hours a day it should be fine. Update: I used the cd player on and VERY along trip off and on and it lasted the whole trip.

Compact easy to use I love listening to books on CD we took a train it was great.

I purchased to listen to books on cd from the library. Does what I need it to do.

Poor quality of the CD player. Some buttons doesn’t work (play/pause button, previous, skip). I have tried it with an original CD bought from the store and a CD with MP3 tracks that I made myself : both don’t work as it should. It plays the first track and I can’t go to the next ones. Very disapointed and I then read the other comments to notice that I’m not alone with these kind of problems.
