Small open sign, and the luminescence is low. You get what you pay for, if you want something catchy buy a different sign.*** Update:Great customer service, they solved my problem.

I bought this for a family business. It was very easy to put in the window and you can change the brightness. However, it does not get bright enough to compete with the since, but for the price it is a good deal. If you want something people will see day or night with ease, I recommend a bigger sign and one that gets brighter.

This is a well illuminated sign, looks pretty nice. Unfortunately, we have our Open sign on an electric timer, to eliminate a human having to turn on/off every day. When power is cut, and turned back on, unit requires the button to be pushed to turn back on. I wish it had a “stay on”, like a rocker switch, but I realize they built in a “hold button for dimming” feature which we don’t need anyway. A static “on” ability would be awesome. That’s my only complaint, but overall, a good looking, bright sign.

Loved the shape and size but this doesn’t work in bright sunlight.

You can't even see the open part light up during the day. It just looks like a blue rectangle with burned out letters. Will be purchasing a brighter sign and putting this in a box. You can definitely see it from the parking lot during the day now.
