Manteca de Ubre , Udder Balm , Analgesisc Ointment 4 oz

This Manteca de Ubre , Udder Balm , Analgesics Ointment 4 oz, he's pretty good but expensive at $13. It has methyl salicylic 10% and camphor 4% topical. The forearm size is actually decent and not too small. It smells just like eucalyptus ointment, applies in a yellowish cream like substance with the same consistency as Vaseline. Make sure you wear gloves when applying it because it gets all over your hand. I'm surprised it doesn't apply cold like the other products I have used.

This helps with minor aches and pain. If you're in a lot of pain, it won't do that much for you though. I struggle with chronic pain on my wrists/legs and it does help quite a bit but doesn't make it go away entirely. So assess how much pain you struggle with and if this product will be for you or not.

This analgesic ointment is pretty oily and a little bit goes a long way. It does not relieve pain 100% but it makes it more bearable. I have been using it for back pain and it helps.Thanks for reading this review. I hope that my comments are helpful. Enjoy your day! 😉

Not quite potent enough to soothe tired feet or back after a long day, but works well for mild aches and pains

It feels nice on the skin & is great for relieving aching, tired muscles. It does have a slight odor from the menthol.

After trying out so many different pain creams and balms, I have to say that this one is one of the few that I find that really works well. It has its limitations, but I've had it completely eliminate pain at times.When its first squeezed out of the tube, it has that yellowish petroleum jelly look. You think that you are going to be in for one greasy time. But no. Once you've massaged this into your skin, give it about 5-10 minutes or so, depending on how much you might have applied, and that greasiness is fully absorbed and goes away. Give it a little more time, and there's a good chance that your pain too will go away.This has a wonderful minty scent. Not strong and you mostly have to put your nose to it get much of that smell. Will not linger or be bothersome to those who do not like that scent.Even though the greasiness goes away rather quickly, it will also moisturize your skin and leave it feeling really nice. Because of that, this is also good for sore and cracked skin.

I have used manteca de ubre before, though not from this brand, and been pleased with it. First, it is important to know that manteca de ubre is much thicker and greasier ointment than other more common pain relief creams and does not absorb in well - much as if you were rubbing petroleum jelly on your skin. Also while it does not have the strong menthol scent that is common among other products, it does have its own unique scent which is rather strong and distinctive.With those caveats in mind, this is still a very good pain relief product that soothes both joints and muscles very well for me. I had been a while since I had used the other manteca de ubre and this one may not work quite as well if my memory is correct, but it it also about half the price.As long as you aren't expecting a quickly absorbing cream, I think this is a great ointment and a good value.

I'm a believer in Manteca De Ubre. I had no idea this brand existed until one of my coworkers recommended it to me. I ordered some for my mom to try out, but I was doubtful it would even work on her chronic pain. My mom suffers from severe chronic pain throughout her body, aching right down to the bones. She had also sustained a knee injury from her job which never healed, so that flares up as well. Sometimes it's difficult for her to even move because of her pain. Over the counter pain relievers such as acetaminophen and ibuprofen aren't even enough sometimes, that's how severe it is. She tried other topical pain relievers, NONE of which worked on her intense pain. I gave her the Manteca De Ubre to try on her knee and sore muscles. She applied the topical, and after a few minutes it actually brought her sweet relief. We couldn't believe it! We both use this brand, which is not only great for sore muscles, but relieving headaches and period cramps as well. You can carefully apply a small amount of this on your forehead (avoiding the eyes of course) and it will bring you relief from a headache. For women who suffer from period cramps, you can apply this to your lower abdomen and lower back, it helps stop the pain. This product is NOT a miracle cure (always talk to your doctor if you have any health concerns), but it can help provide effective relief from pain. We are repeat customers, this product is impressive and actually works! Highly recommend trying this!
