Her family owned restaurants in a small delta community in her native Eastern Arkansas for 60 years, so she didn't hesitate to head into the kitchen to create her own satisfying granola breakfast or snack with simple, high-quality local ingredients.She perfected her recipe with the trusted ingredients from farm families just like hers... 100% whole grain oats and golden flaxseed from a family owned farm in North Dakota and 100% pure maple syrup from a family owned farm in New England. The result was a granola snack that drew rave reviews from friends and family.People began asking for more and encouraged her to start selling the granola commercially.
