Stolzle 3 Ounce Classic Lead-Free Crystal Grappa Glass, Set of 6

Bought these as a gift and they really enjoyed them.

The media could not be loaded. I love the products of various craft distilleries in the old world as well as local ones in New England. I create my own pear schnaps from the pears off the tree in my front yard. I needed these glasses as an additional set for tastings with larger groups of guests where I used to routinely run out of glasses.For that, they are just fine. Stölzle is a reputable brand with a long tradition of making fine crystal ware. The feel in the hand is two steps up from what Ikea sells, but they are clearly not as nice as my Riedel grappa glasses (which, admittedly, cost 2-3 times more). The sound gives it away - a dull, high-pitched clink, vs. the lower, long and singing tone of the Riedel crystal glasses. The rim is almost as thin, though, and they don't take away from the flavor and aroma of the content.

I bought these for bartending sessions at work. I do presentations for executives at multinational corporations on behalf of my employer. Unfortunately, one of the glasses came shattered. I love the look and feel of the remaining 4, but I paid for five and I was stolen of 1.
