I like this shirt so much that I bought 2. This is the second shirt. The material is a cotton blend so there isn't much in the way of "stretch". The first shirt I bought was a large. It fit, but it was tight. (Especially using the shirt to wear at Renn Faires and the like. People wore their shirts looser in those days AND it helps keep you cooler.) I bought this shirt a size larger than I normally wear and it fits much better.

We got an L so and he's 5-10 around 160 with wide shoulders, and it fits nicely. He wanted it a little loose and not to look overly tight and this works but if he'd wanted to go for more snug, he could've totally done a medium. He wears this with black dress slacks for his Rodolphus Lestrange cosplay and it's a great period look with Slytherin green. We can use it for ren fairs and such as well, but it's a nice shirt to just wear daily if you're like us and enjoy the bohemian sort of vibe. It's comfortable and well made and a really amazing price. Highly recommend.

Seems like fairly decent quality. Bought for a ren faire. My buddy bought a different unnamed brand on Amazon and was not happy with his. Seems pretty light so hopefully it's cool enough while walking around. Ordered one size up as others have said and it fits well. Sleeves button up if you want to wear it as short sleeve.

The fit is great, so far, but it's not even close to the shade of green we ordered. It's more of a dusty faded army green than olive green.

Really good quality medieval shirt! It’s got a weird rainbow trim on the ends that I actually really liked that looked cool with the rest of my pirate outfit. The shirt fit very well and the thickness of the material was perfect. Didn’t get too hot or cold, and the leather lace up strips were perfect length. I thoroughly enjoyed the shirt and overall think it’s a great product!

Be aware that the material this shirt is made from does not like to stretch. Putting it on feels a bit fragile because the seems have very little give, so maybe order a size up. Otherwise the shirt itself looks very cool and is worth the money

The beads bleed if you wash it, might want to get better beads.the pens on the string.

Edited review. Initially rated as a 4 bc size was too big. Material is quality, good design etc. I washed and dried in the dryer and it fits MUCH better. Possibly if I got the large that I usually wear, it would have been too tight. So maybe, it can be true to a size you usually get, but don’t dry it in the dryer.Original postLittle loose. Not sure if I’ll send it back or not yet. The event I need it for is on Sunday. I’ll try and wash it hot and dry to see if it shrinks. I really think a large, like I always wear would have been best. At first glance. Seems like quality fabric and make. Just shouldn’t have listened to those saying they bought one size up.

Looks nowhere near as good as in the photos, and frankly comes over as cheap and, well, tatty. The material is very thin, as are the drawstrings. And btw, in case you hadn't noticed, there are only two drawstrings, on at the neck and one on the right-hand side: none on the left.How long will it last? If worn regularly you might get a year out of it, if you don't tear it.Will I send it back? Tempted but not worth the trouble. Will I buy another? Not on your life.

Pretty happy with it. A little bit disappointed with the loose threads at the cuffs. Would have expected better for the money, but is made in China...Material is pretty light weight. Good for summer. 7/10

Nice cut, nice fabric, but I would have liked very much that the colorful seams could have been seen more clearly in the product description and photos. That was a bit of a shock and by the way, these are neither vintage nor medieval.Schöner Schnitt, schöner Stoff, allerdings hätte ich mir sehr gewünscht, dass die bunten Nähte deutlicher in der Produktbeschreibung und den Fotos zu erkennen gewesen wären. Das war ein kleiner Schock und mal ganz nebenbei weder sind diese weder vintage noch mittelalterlich.

Ich habe das Hemd aufgrund der Rezessionen in M bestellt und bei 180cm/80kg sitzt das gute Stück schon echt knapp, eher wie ein T-Shirt... Wer es lockerer tragen möchte, braucht schon L bei der Körpergröße. Hoffentlich geht es beim Waschen nicht ein...Leider ist das Hemd unten in bunt umgenäht, das schaut schon sehr komisch aus, für Fasching stört es mich jetzt nicht. Auch die Knopflöcher sind bunt, warum auch immer... Ansonsten die Verarbeitungsqualität ist überraschend gut und der Stoff fühlt sich gut an.
