I always carry extra ones of these; I like to download my photos daily to my iPad and use it to photoshop the shots that I take during travel. Upload to the cloud and I don't have to worry about a repository transfer later or worry about lost or misplaced cards.

The older version just connected to the iPad. Now it has an added wire. But it did the job downloading my pics. Would recommend.

Wouldn’t even give one star but no other option. This would not read on my iPhone 8. Tried to use an assortment of apps, no luck. Would not buy if you have an iPhone
