KitchenAidGourmet 11cm / 4½ Inch General Purpose Kitchen Knife, Fine-Edge High-Carbon Japanese Steel

I'm a hobby cook and always keep an eye for quality products at a discount. I bought this knife as an Amazon Resale product (rated very good condition) and have been thrilled with it. The steel is hard and the initial edge is sharp and will likely hold for a while based on the cutting angle. The handle is solid and feels great in hand. The 11cm size is perfect as a utility knife, and I've used it daily since it arrived and haven't had any complaints. If you need a utility knife this is as good as you're likely to find without spending 2-3 times the money.

I liked the handle, easy to hold and comfortable. The blade is very sharp, and comes with a blade cover which was very handy. Good size, and makes me feel like a professional chef when using it. I do like the size of the blade. And overall great value for money.

Good and sharp enough forged blade. It had a little bit of a burr on the cutting edge which I wasn't expecting on a brand new knife. It's only just about sharp enough, rather than very sharp but that suits my case use of chopping up firm vegetables. Good value for money.

Good quality, Weighted knife. Comes with a protective cover, ordered other one for my mum I was pleased with it.

Wanted one of those for a while.It's sharp, well if there wasn't a burr on the the blade . I sharpened it and now it's as I want . Bloody keen.Well made and solid.The fluting states that the items you cut don't stick ..Big Lie. But minor really.Brilliant knife for the block , solid and nicer when you have the best edge possible on it .

These are very sharp and the blade is tough. These were actually very good value compared to the other bread knifes on the market. I never knew bread knifes could cost so much, considering their basic use.Don't waste your money spending over £100 on a bread knife, this will most likely do a better job than the pricier knifes on the market.Definitely recommend this if you want high quality at an affordable price.
