This Is One of Three Different Tenors I Purchased
So my sax collection consists of the following saxophones: 1 soprano, 3 altos, 3 baritones and so I decided to add 3 tenors. This Eldon ETS420LN was one of two tenors I bought July 2017, and the third sax was purchased a week later (first week of August 2017). As a result, I've had some time with this horn. Pros: After 15 months it still tunes great, easy to run all scales on the horn. Out of the three tenors I purchased this one gives me the best sound. It definitely sounds more expensive than it really is. Con: It appears to require some adjustment since it has a hard time moving straight from low "G" to mid "G". However, it moves from a low "G" to an altissimo "G" easily. I replaced the neck strap, I use a Vandoren SM722 TL4 mouthpiece and Vandoren 3 reeds. I'm pleased with this purchase.
