So I’m replacing the same brand that lasted 2 years until the stickum failed. These are different because they have 1 anchor screw and the adhesive is 3m foamish double stickum tapeish material. Amazing stuff actually. However when you stick things to your wall whatever it is, it’s held there by a thin layer of paint. If I knew the sticky tape was white, I would have gone with the nickel color instead of clear. BTW, you contractors out there, would it kill you to put blocking in the walls where things like towel bars, railings and small vanity’s go? You see, Sheetrock is OK for pictures but that’s about it. A decent framer can block out all the necessary areas in about 10 minutes. It really should be code

These are fantastic. I was trying to hang some 100" LONG curtains in my office using a tension rod, and it would NOT stay in place, due to the wall being slightly uneven. Had I purchased these to begin with, it would have saved us well over an hour of frustration. I highly recommend these. I love the sticky back to help get them in place, along with the screw to set them in place. I worried if one screw was going to be enough, but it is fine.

These brackets are not only attractive in chrome finish, matching perfectly with my shiny chrome shower curtain rod, but they do what I needed them to do. I used the screws and anchors provided after making sure everything was level, for a perfectly easy installation. The plastic holder brackets are nice and lightweight including the 3M adhesive. The screws and anchors worked for the job with no issues. I use 2 heavy fabric shower curtains with 2 liners so this product prevents the rod from repeatedly sliding or falling down over time with temperature or moisture issues. RECOMMEND
