Crown Rotating Vise
It is what is......and purports to be. And, that's pretty good! No, it's not a Regal, but it comes close. Yes, you can buy it from Alibaba for $12.50 as long as you're willing to wait 4 to 6 weeks, get a minimum of 30, AND pay shipping from India as well as custom duties and taxes. Or,get it from the manufacturer, Saga, for even less, but submit a minimum $500 order and, again, pay for it FOB India with all the attendant fees. I like it, and certainly didn't mind wiping off the minor amount of grease it was coated with to avoid corrosion in shipment.

Works well so far
Well, this is my first rotary vise so I can not really compare it to any other brand. For me it does the job. Holds the hook very very securely. The hook does not move at all when clamped, and that is the main objective really. The finish of the product cosmetically may not be very appealing, but for the price it is certainly a good vise when compare to other 200 dollar vises. The only issue I have with this vise is that it takes a lot of palm squeeze strength to clamp the hook in place so if you are artheritic then this is not the vise for you.

Great vise so far, can hold small hooks
I only got this vise a few days ago, so I can't say anything about its durability. I can, however, say that I've been tying from sizes 14 down to a 22 emerger on this vise with virtually no problems. It holds the hooks very well, and the jaws allow for good access to the tiny hooks for laying down materials. For the money, this (so far), has been a great purchase. It arrives coated in a greasy film that can be cleaned off pretty easily, but things like that dont bother me.

Solid Vise
This vise is solidly built, sturdy, and holds the hook exceptionally well. I would recommend this to anyone looking to tie flies, but who doesn't want to spend a small fortune on a vise. It works great on flies from buggers to nymphs, to pretty much anything else. I have found the rotating feature to be very useful. Overall, a great vise, and even better value. It did, however, come with a bit of funky grease on it, but it wiped off easily, so not really an issue. Overall, a great vise, and even better value.

Fly tying vise
is product came as it was described the only thing I would say the brass finish could be better but as far as the vice working it is a lot better than the one I had this is why I gave it A 5 star the only thing I would recommend a good put a smaller clamping device on it than the one that comes with it

unbelivable junk
I cannot that this piece of junk is being sold as a crown vise. As the one review said, how many of you have been tying for any anount of time? I've been tying for 40 years and after all those years with a thompson A vise that just broke this yead , get it 40 years with one vise, I buy a crown rotating vise from Amazon whom I thought I trusted and its a imported piece of junk ina box that looked like a dog chewed from a bogus seller. I guess there is no way to return it either, or this puppy would be flying back carrier pidgeon they way it came from India. IfI cound rate tis lower than a one I would. Please do not buy this vise.

Great for the price.
This is a great Vise for the money. Works great with #22, the only issue I have is it will not rotate all the way around. It only goes about 1/3 of the way either direction.

Pretty sweet vise... For the most part
I love this vise... 1 major flaw though. The rotating lock screw is in threaded brass. If you overtightened it WILL strip brass threads. I was able to drill it out and press in a threaded insert and it is back to tying flies. Wasn't happy about that happening, but for the price and the other quality features, I love it
