I just like knowing that I have it.
This appears to be a very high-quality item. I have not yet used it and may never use it but I love the idea that I have it I like what I could do with it if I needed to, and it appears as though it would hold up to that task. Itβs a good thing I hope this helps

Bit could be a bit sharper but works pretty good

Added value of extra utility cinched the deal for me.
Pro: Includes pouch with belt loop, two zippered compartments with room to spare in addition to the clasped compartment for the settler's tool and dowel handle. The set also includes a manual chain saw in it's own pouch with belt loop so that it may be carried in the settler's tool pouch as shipped or flexibly attached to the belt separately.Con: The rudimentary cutting edges Need Honing out of the box. The Scotch Eye is as dull as an axe or butter knife and practically may still form the dowel pin without getting stuck in the wood I have not yet tested this optimistic theory. YMMV. Four widgets.

Very nice set!
I bought this to give to my husband for a birthday present. He's an outdoorsy guy and likes the idea of bush-crafting. This was a very nice set. He hasn't used it yet but it appears to be very well-made and solid. The carrying case is very nice. He even really liked the personal chainsaw that came with it. He's eager to get out and use it once it warms up a little.
