The product description here is confusing - especially if you're buying this as a gift - as it suggests a '1, 2, 3' age range and a 3+. In my opinion the latter is correct. A pity about this as otherwise this wooden shape sorter on wheels is a lovely traditional toy - educational and with bags of play value for toddlers.This really combines 3 toys in one. One is the little wheeled cart, the second is the shape sorter where the coloured wooden blocks can be posted through the sides of the cart and the last is the sorter where the shapes need to be placed onto dowels with between one and six posts.So there's plenty to keep toddlers occupied - and learning hand/eye co-ordination as well as logical thought and learning the names of the colours and shapes. There are no sharp edges and this is a very good quality, durable toy that could be passed down to younger children as they arrive. Given the quality, the £23.99 priceat time of writing seems reasonable.

High quality wooden Montessori educational toys!My son is a big fan of this kind of toys !He has few sets however he didn’t not had a buss shaped one yet.Seen so many on YouTube videos and always wished one!He was very happy seeing this bus shape puzzle.Not only there are much more shapes with ing one set but the lever is much harder too so he felt challenged!The shapes are nicely cut ,no sharp edges ,nicely coloured ,baby friendly so I am not afraid of leaving my youngest son(1 year old to play with ) .Learning while playing has always been easier and this wooden toys is exactly what they do!The size of the bus is just as pictured as well as the size of the shapes .Overall this wooden toys puzzle bus is perfect and I can’t fault it at all.Definitely recommended!

The item is very small! So rather silly!And the shapes can be pushed through the wrong holes so not very good

This is an ideal present for a toddler learning to identify shapes and colours. As the product illustrations show, there is a variety of wooden shapes to slot into the appropriate apertures, or slot onto the pegs as appropriate.The wooden pieces are beautifully made, no sharp edges and well finished. In addition you have the little cart to contain them all and push along, and what toddler doesn't like anything with wheels that can be pushed?Parent discrepancy would be needed over the appropriate age for the child to start using this toy as the advice is conflicting but seems to suggest three or older. I think it unlikely that even a young child could swallow one of these chunky wooden pieces, but there is always a danger of choking so caution should be exercised.Otherwise this is a well-made and engaging early toy in natural materials - such a welcome change from plastic.

Safety is paramount when it comes to children’s toys, so the seller really needs to amend the product description - and reinforce the message that this educational toy is for tots aged 3+. The present product header suggests this is for boys & girls aged 1-3 years of age, then, in the same sentence, states it’s for kids 2-4. Further down the product page there is the following statement: Warning: Not suitable for children under 3 years.In defence of the product itself though, it has been thoughtfully designed, and I like that it’s made of wood. It’s been nicely put together, with precise joints, and a smooth finish. Another plus is that this comes complete in its cardboard box - so no assembly required! The pieces included have been made to a good standard, with no sharp edges, and provide a good range of shapes and colours to keep children stimulated and entertained. All those pieces are fitted into the appropriate shaped openings on the side of the wheeled cart, or placed on the correct wooden lugs on the top. When completed, the child can happily manoeuvre the cart around the floor. The cart also doubles up as a storage container for all the components used. So, despite my initial quibble regarding the product description, I still feel that this is a super educational toy - providing you are purchasing it for kiddies in the 3+ age group.
