Tasty and full can of product
Surprised by the difference in flavor and quality WAY better than the โmincedโ local big box store. It is in more pieces and hunks and will require mixing if you make pattyโs or a dish requiring a blended even product. No red food color. So You will find some variation in color and skin; which maybe a no Go for sensitive who care more for appearance than fact.It is Not a Center Cut but it is A wild caught with better nutrition and Affordable protein

Cans were cented
I have not opened a can yet, but 10 out of the 12 cans were dented. Not that I won't use them, but I would prefer to start with undamaged cans.

Tasty, but Bony
I'm really sad about this canned salmon. On the one hand, it's delicious for being canned - when I first ate this, I thought I may have found the perfect brand for canned salmon. The flavor is not the same-old heavy tuna/chicken canned flavor... which is great.Unfortunately, there are bone segments in it. A lot of them. It's still eatable, as the bone segments are brittle and crumble easily, but it's unpleasant to eat, and makes me wonder about overall quality control.I ordered these October 2022, and the can is marked Best by August 2026, so a long 46 months expiration from order. Made in the USA.

Makes great Salmon cakes.
I've never had canned salmon before and thought this was quite good for canned fish. Unlike tuna, this is a rolled slice of salmon - skin, vertebrate, and all. The skin was in fairly large pieces so it was easy to remove. Same as the vertebrate. I didn't worry about the tiny rib bones. I used two cans of meat, crushed saltines, 2 eggs and a small onion to make 8 patties and they were delicious. The tiny bones were not an issue at all. I added a couple pinches of white sugar to compensate for any potential "tinny" taste, and there was none. If, like me, you like to have a variety of canned meats on hand for quick easy meals or emergencies, this is a pretty tasty option.
