For the price, it's a great little TV box.
For the price, this is a TERRIFIC little Android TV box. Was a little slow when I first hooked it up, but it turned out that was because it was doing a ton of updates, etc.. once that was complete, the responsiveness improved substantially. This has all the apps/programs I need, including KODI (it udpated that while I was using it), YouTube, Netflix, etc.. Remote is nice too - fits well in my hand and makes things easy.. I wish it hat a built-in keyboard, but I knew it didn't when I bought it, and I'm thinking of buying one of those compact keyboard remotes as it is. As I said - for the price, this is definitely a 5-star item. If it had been $40 or $50.. or more.. I would not have ranked it as high, because it's not super fast, but it certianly works fine for my needs.UPDATE -I have repurposed this compact little gem. It has been close to 7 years since I first purchased this (August, 2017), and well over 18 months since I last used it as it was intended, as an Android TV Box.. it simply outlived its usefulness and the software was just too out of date. However, it is an ARM-based 'computer' - Rockchip RK3229 processor with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of on-board EMMC storage - so I figured I'd repurpose it as an ultra-micro PC. I downloaded the RK3229 Armbian package (built on Ubuntu 22.04) and installed it to the NexSmart using a 2gb MicroSD card and MultiTool. Installation was actually quite easy and now I have a super tiny, low-power 'PC' running Linux. It has HDMI, so it can connect to the TV in my bedroom or a standard PC monitor, ethernet, two USB ports (to which I have connected a powered USB hub), so I have all the connectivity I could possibly want. I've also hooked up one of those wireless micro keyboard/remotes, which works very well.It may not be super fast, but it works very well for DOSBOX emulation, web browsing, email, etc... and I can do it all from my bed.
