This product definitely works but nowhere in the instructions does it explain how long each whitening pen lasts so I thought I’d write this review to help future purchasers.I had read a few reviews here that said the pens lasted a long time so imagine my surprise when I ran out of the first pen on the fifth day of treating my teeth. I did some googling and found, on the company’s site, information that clarified each pen was only supposed to last four treatments. So the original kit, that comes with three pens, is designed for 12 treatments.Amazon doesn’t have the replacement pens as of writing this review but a few other sites do, including the perfect smile company. To buy three more pens is $60, not including tax so it’s not inexpensive. Shipping is free though.

Purchased this product for my son. He absolutely loves it. His teeth are noticeably brighter white, without looking fake.

Instructions should have explained different light settings. Otherwise easy to use. But I feel ripped off because of the empty pens. Don’t feel like paying more for refills.

I gave this teeth whitening kit several days to work, and I feel my teeth are around 3 shades whiter, I started around a level 11 on the test sheet, and now I am easily a 7 or 8, I am a coffee and sport drink user, so this worked extra hard, the gel is easy on the teeth and gums (no pain or irritation), it applies easily using the brush built into the applicator pen, just rotate the upper part on the pen until you see the gel liquid on the brush, apply to teeth, and then use the LED mouthpiece, it has 3 colors blue, red, and blue/red, I have been using the blue/red combination as this is what set's it apart from other whitening kits, let it work for around 16 minutes it will auto turn off when done.The LEDs on the mouthpiece are bright, I can still see the red light with mouth closed, it is great quality, I had no issues using it, it will be blue by default, press the power button again to change the LED color. The battery life is great on it as-well and can be used around 4 hours, which should provide over a week of whitening use, to re-charge it provides a standalone magnetic cable, or you can use the dock (USB-C), which has a nice plastic cover to keep the mouthpiece clean.It includes 3 whitening pens, and I am still on the first one, I am unsure how long they last, but at this rate each of the pens should provide a month or longer of use.One concern was the manual didn't explain what the different light wavelengths did, blue has been used commonly for teeth whitening, but it didn't mention the red mode much (just that it recommends using both red/blue), I searched and found the red wavelength can help reduce gum inflammation and even help heal damaged gums, reduce bacteria, and is great at whitening as-well (plus many other benefits).Overall I am satisfied with this product, no pain, burning or irritation (I have sensitive teeth too!), the mouthpiece is well-designed and is easy to use, and hold in mouth for 16 minutes, the gel has no harmful chemicals as-well, which is great.
