These syringes are considered one-time use because the ink marking the graduations comes off rather easily; it is non-toxic. For many hand-feeding applications, this isn't a critical issue because the amount necessary is often gauged by eye. THESE ARE NOT FOR HUMAN USE - ANIMAL FEEDING USE ONLY. The Miracle O-Ring Slip Tip Syringe is superior to syringes that have a rubber plunger. The Miracle O-Ring Syringe can be washed and reused over and over - a real value to hand feeders. Syringe is individually packaged, BPA- free, and sterile. Occasionally, due to manufacturing oversight, the syringes may not say "Miracle". Please note that the syringe is the same.

Meh.
I gave these syringes three stars, because in my eyes, that is equivalent to "meh". These came highly recommended for feeding my baby squirrels, but I ended preferring the plain "bulb" type syringes.CONS:The thing that I disliked most about these syringes, it that they do not hold liquid if turned upside down. I use the 1cc syringes, and because my squirrels sometimes eat 18cc at one feeding, I like to fill 10 at a time and keep them in a glass of hot water to keep them warm. This also means I don't have to refill one syringe repeatedly. I cannot do this with these syringes, as the fluid leaks out while they are in the cup. I wasted a lot of formula the first time I tried these as 6 of the 10 I used emptied into the glass. This does not happen with "bulb" syringes.PROS:The flow is quite smooth. The syringe does not stick and sometimes shoot out more fluid than intended. If you only need 1cc at a time, and do not mind repeatedly refilling a syringe- these are great... just don't hold them upside down.
