As a beginner I wanted something fairly inexpensive that was still decent enough to see if I really enjoyed archery. This is a fantastic starter set for anyone interested in archery. I went for the 40lbs bow, thinking that I was a bit stronger than most. My recommendation would be to go for the lower pound option, just so that you can practice correct form when shooting. For anyone not sure if they want to get into archery, I would highly recommend this set.As an aside, I upgraded to a sammick sage recurve bow with 30lb limbs. I highly recommend this bow as a follow-on from this starter package set.

The finger tab was low quality and wore away after 1 week of use but i already had one so that wasn’t a big deal. Everything else is really good except it didn’t come with the shooting circle things

As much as I want to have this bow and arrow. I'm really struggling with the use of it. The string nocks don't fit the string, the arrows don't stay in place easily for firing. And it's a lot heavier then I expected.

Had some good fun shooting this for leisure. 2 of the 6 arrows have had the tips break off when pulling arrows out of materials however that may be due to my target material. The loops on the string have began to fray after a few days use making it unsafe to use until I can replace it. A good bow for casual fun but not ideal for someone looking to take up archery in a more serious manner.

It does what it's meant to but the design and construction is a bit basic

I’m learning archery and was told a recurve bow was the place to start, the bow came well packaged in three pieces and was easy to put together,instructions on how to string the bow was easy to follow and in 10 minutes I was shooting my first arrow. Feels rock solid and after a week of constant firing it feels like I just got it, the arrows are very strong and can take some punishment if you happen to miss your target. Highly recommended.

Brilliant product. Came with everything you could need. Left handed - so the ease of this bow was really helpful. Better instructions are needed to attach the bow to the string. It's not really clear and had to receive help from a third party.

Received item today, no arm or finger guards in the box. Only arrows, bow and targets.
